It's no different from people knicking the special pint glasses out a bar.

Looks stupid when they do it, the staff expect it (and groan) but in the comfort of your own home a Schofferhoffer in a Schofferhoffer glass is pretty damn good.

This is where I call you a brand whore. Such activity is derivative. You could get some custom glasses made... You can't steal prestige.

I'm prepared to take heat for this opinion from the true believers, but what's with the ash trays?

I think they're completely stupid unless you're a smoker, and judging by all the keys and tokens I see in them, smokers aren't putting them to use. I've been in plenty of restaurants that had ash trays on the tables, I never felt like I needed one for my kitchen table over dinner.

I've also seen threads where people talk about how they "took" one from a Club Sega/Taito arcade. Real classy.

Just something that **** me off when I see cab pictures.

I keep the coins in the ashtray to help keep all the coins in 1 place...I'm too lazy to add a credit button to candy cab..

As for the taking one from an arcade...double thumbs down.

It would be nice to have one, but knowing that most are stolen makes me a bit uneasy about purchasing one.
