Still a pretty pathetic 1.4bn, stage 4. Haven't played it as much as I'd like. I'm sure I can hit that second extend and 2bn with some effort but beyond that, I dunno. High scores are reserved for those who can confidently dodge scary patterns and finish it.

I can't believe you can get to stage 5 and not "see where the fun is" though. I'm having a blast. It's definitely high end difficulty but practice is rewarded, it's a real confidence booster.

A Cave game is for life, not just for Christmas.

I'm glad you're having a blast, but I just don't see where the fun is.

It's just the same ol crap. Take the DDP name out of it and it's just a stale shooter with a high difficulty.

I'd rather play Ibara - at least it's different and fun, while being difficult.

But going through stage after stage with blue neon, boring enemies, collecting gold and having to hyper at the exact right times to get more gold gets old and boring.

And both of our scores are pathetic - dunno how you're getting enjoyment out of dying.

I still think this game was fan service.

I'm glad you like it though.

Cave games are for as long as I can see the screen - I'm getting old, lol.

I had a hard time figuring out the whole hitbox deal. Also, EX is way easier than Futari Ultra. I had little trouble making it to stage 2 on my first credit, Ultra never let me past the tiny armed dino. :awe:

Really fun game though, looking forward to playing it with a healed up hand.

The hitbox is a pain at first but you do get used to it.

yeah - speaking of, how's that coming along? Are you going to be back to normal soon, or are you learning how to play differently?

It's healing, but as I can't use my thumb yet, I have to use a sloppy wine glass grip that's pretty useless for accuracy. :( Also, my injured hand is sweating all over the place.

That's not a wino grip though is it? I always thought the 'wine glass' grip is kinda palm facing upwards as though you're swishing round a brandy glass.

Yosai's grip is also what I use. More of a 'highest up the toilet wall' grip.

Looks like they might be moving to Nesica or similar. Gutted if so.
