You'd think Taito would learn from their mistakes. :problem:

No concrete specs yet it seems. I've read Core i3 and i5.
I'm guessing it'll be digital distribution only so I'll probably never own one.
I wonder if it'll be 1080p and we'll see a new Vewlix to match.

So Taito didn't really do anything. All they said was "we will make a Type X3, and this is a picture of a computer."

All of the Type X series are PCs, I'm well aware of that. However, simply showing a picture and giving no specs isn't worth any excitement (since, you know, all PCs basically look the same).

Remember Taito didn't design the TypeX/X+/X2, it's develolped/designed by Toshiba (Tops PC diversion) for Windows XP Embedded fabrication solutions, Konami also use them.

again , there will be a bunch of revisions , just what the certain game needs. don`t see the need of any specs.

pretty sure it will support 1080p , the time of 720p displays is over.

I talked today with a taito menager at amusement show and he say only tx2 and tx0 use nesica system. no plan for tx3 at the moment.

about tx3 tech.. well i dont understand much about computer hardware power but i can confirm 1gb ram. video card HD, windows embedded 7 64bit (or 32 bit for older coded games) and a new dongle protection system.

the dongle is big like a examu cartridge
the weight of the mobo is a lot more than a tx2 and is more bigger

the first game running n this system is a music game. you can find videos of amusement show at my streaming account site. is the first one in the list, where the nice nice :awe: taito gals play before close all. sorry for the bad quality but i am still doing experiments with phone streaming :(

http://japanamusement.blogspot.com/2011 ... -2011.html"

persona 4 fighting is awesome. :awe: and still on tx2 but nesica.

tomorrow i'll try to write down more tech details of the tx3 but taito menager say is still a lot preliminary and they plan to power it up a lot more before the final release.

Can you ask if there is any chance for a non nesica release of the Persona fighter?

It's an above average configuration. I've got a picture of what's on offer but need to upload it. CPU is configurable with the high end being an i7 2.6 Ghz, standard is Intel Q67 Express with 2GB DDR3. Standard video card is surprisingly, a Radeon HD 6770 or can be upgraded to a GeForce GTX 560Ti. Video output is not HDMI, still DVI. Taito rep mentioned that it's backwards compatible with X2.

HDMI is backwards-compatible with single-link DVI-I and single-link DVI-D (1080p @ 60Hz) as they are electrically compatible. The problem comes from HDCP (or if the TX3 outputs DVI-A only) but I don't believe the Type X3 would be outputting encrypted content but I could be wrong.
