I'm about a quarter cut right now but on my way to half cut. Gonna have a few credits too. I always have real trouble with Zangief and Honda after a few glasses of wine?!?

Re: Whats in your cab(s) right now?
Good 'ol Ryu. T.Hawk's usually no problem, but after a few drinks I tend to misjudge the range of his condor dive and chuck an unsafe Hadoken. I've always disliked Hawk and the way his stance looks like he's sitting in an armchair so getting beat by him **** me right off
Hawk was the 4th character I fought. For some reason I always find the 4th/5th fight the most difficult. I suspect it's just my imagination but if I get past that point without using a credit it's usually plain sailing. Unless I have a few drinks then it's an uphill struggle.

Zangief can be really frustrating. A couple of command throws and you're toast
Claw can be a right nippy Cynthia. I go through spells of struggling against one character but that character changes all the time. I'd say that character at the minute is Fei Long. I think sometimes with me it's just a patience thing when playing against the CPU though.

I play ssf2x pretty much everyday, I think the thing about around the 5 - 6th fight being hardest has some truth. I tend to have the most trouble with cammy if she comes up around then. for me at least honda is easy mode for that game against cpu, not sure though probably different for others.
ok baby Cps2 ssf2x
av 7000 - kof98
nac - x360 ssf4 (changes to kof13 on the reg. umvc3 sometimes)

Re: Whats in your cab(s) right now?
Nice setup I like to get a couple of credits in every day too if I can.
Cammy can be a pain - as Kernow says pretty much anyone can. Actually, I've just been playing and Dee Jay was a right pain around fight 4 - really drawn out fireball battle with close to nought energy at the end of both rounds . He was based on Billy Blanks though so you'd expect some irritation.

You need some versus action.crunchywasp wrote:Nice setup I like to get a couple of credits in every day too if I can.

I find the computer is cheap, rather than hard. There is usually an easy way to beat it though, eg Ryu against Deejay, if you just spam HK hurricanes near him, he'll walk into everyone.

I do need more versus action! The only person I know that's any fun and/or a challenge is my brother & he rarely visits
I sound like I'm boasting - I'll be the first to admit I'm no expert but most of my mates just jump around mashing the buttons and struggle even with the concept of holding back to block as they preferred Mortal Kombat back in the day
