My grey sfz2a comes close, but...

NOTHING

Every time another shiny thing catches my eye, it's all up for sale until I have the funds needed

This might change one day though, if I ever grow up and get a proper job

Ibara and Flying Shark are still the two that I'll never part with. I almost had a heart attack yesterday when I threw Flying Shark in the cab and it failed to boot... but it just needed the +5V turned up a bit.

All the rest of my shizzle (aside from the cab itself) will be up for sale very, very soon, as I need £££ :{ Ketsui (AGAIN), Brave Blade, Xexex, TNZS, Rush 'n Crash, Esp Ra.De...

Speaking of things we would take to our graves.

Does anybody have a plan in place for their arcade stuff if they die? Like I do kind of worry that if something where to happen my wife wouldn't know what to do with my collection and would either junk it or get less then $100 for my collection (which should be able to fetch over $1k).

I've though about leaving a doc on my pc with a list of my collection and rough estimates of it's value but i'm sure she'll find it while i'm still alive & kicking and keep bugging me to sell the stuff. :palm:

O god the horror.

I tell my girlfriend all I spend. She doesn't really care and can't complain as she spends money on stupid stuff like clothes :awe: and shoes :awe: . But I just hope she doesn't start adding stuff up if she remembers all the money i've spent and annoy me to sell stuff so she can buy shoes. I just say it's a hobby and not a obsession. worked till now.
The screws used to seal up this cart are wood screws. Nobody is going to waste good wood screws on a bootleg, they'd just use cheap electronic screws instead.

If you are a nerd like me, you can use something like Game Collector and come to the realisation your "core" collection consists of over 500 games, not including all the crap I couldn't even be bothered to catalogue.
It took quite a bit of work as most of my games aren't the most mainstream and I spent a few weeks scanning all my boxes and inserts, but I uploaded them all. If only others would do the same.

Since I did this, my collecting has certainly slowed down, and when I die (probably pretty soon knowing my luck), my wife can make some money off it.

I also did my comics and came to the horrible conclusion that I have over 4000 individual items (with some books being worth hundreds of dollahs).

Hmm, i might need to do that with mine as my board has stopped working, either that or its knackered. :(

I'm not sure I have anything I wouldn't part with, especially if I was short on cash. I guess I would try and hold onto my Super Famicom and Neo Geo AES as I've owned them for so long, I bought the SFC shortly after the Japanese release so has sentimental value. Arcade game wise I'd be reluctant to sell Battle Bakraid and any of my Toaplan games, especially Truxton 2 which I recently bought.

Ah, fond memories of dirty trackballs. It's like playing after Stig of the Dump has just been on.

I suspect the Stig reference shows my age...

DonPachi and Ibara for me.

As for when I'm dead, I'm pretty sure everything I own will be put in a landfill - or burnt and then put in a landfill. Whatever. I only care about what happens to it whilst I'm alive; after that, it's not my problem. :awe:

For me, anything is for sale for the right price but in case no one wants to offer bags of money for them, I would prefer not to get rid of these:

Black Dragon
Cannon Dancer
Daimakaimura
Double Dragon
Double Dragon II
Elevator Action Returns
Fighting Wushu 2nd
Final Fight
Ninja Spirit
The Ninja Warriors
Rastan Saga
Strider Hiryu
Ultimate PC Genjin
Virtua Fighter
Virtua Fighter 2.1
Virtua Fighter 3tb

What you can gather from this is that I am a loner barbarian who likes to fight and is into ninjas.
