I hope that Exa Arcadia ups the ante in violent overkill moves like Special that has been toned down for Perfect version on prototype Neo Geo test cart and home collection release. More blood and sliced bodies galore.

Hi, the live broadcast and great and I thank the team :)

I find the game to be aesthetically superb and the gameplay to be solid.
I find it unfortunate that we find ourselves like shikkhondo without a female voice and also the lack of sound effects on enemy deaths.

My god the pops are beautiful once again the shipping costs will be expensive :D

I also find it coll that the game is in 3/4 it will be perfect in my egret3

Shikhondo Red Purgatory has voice in English and Japanese (both main characters speak). I'm not sure what you mean there.

Touhou Perfect Sakura Fantastica is still under development and voices are planned to be added among other things.

On the subject of games with a graze mechanic, Graze Counter is one of my favourite in recent years.
Gameplay really shines once you have completed the tutorials and understand the weapons systems. Perhaps a little similar to GigaWing.

There is demo version on steam.

@Shou

Hi Shou, indeed you are right in addition I have the Exa arcadia version of Shikkhodo :)
I talk for steam version

Thanks specify this for Touhou about voices
count on me to buy a copy.

Thanks again to you and your team for the arcades.

Even though i'm mad at Saidaioujou, the work on the game is amazing.

And Redsun is a super distributor of exa-arcadia brand For Europe.

Definitely excited for the Touhou game, it looks great. Have to admit I was kind of hoping for a 9:16 playfield like Shikhondo, but I guess those with CRTs will be happy!

Touhou Perfect patterns are mesmerising.

Good to see some rams in action. I've not seem much cattle featured since the cows in Space Invaders 91'

Looks like system and game version info has now been added to the official webpage.

https://exa.ac/en/current-game-version-info

Also plenty of further information at

You can use a JAMMA JVS IO board for CRT cabs. There are plenty on the used market at very affordable prices.

We are looking into 15kHz compatibility but it will not come cheaply and will be optional.

No, there are plenty of options for collectors to use for downscaling these days.

There are few Exa games that would look good with that level of downscaling. If I only had a 15k cab, I'd hook it up to my TV instead to be honest.

I got the Exa Arcadia unit out of pure curiosity and eventual attempt at operation.

Felt quite curious on the USB 3.0 slots plus that Ethernet plug, which are those generic PC components.

Asked around the STG discord Exa channel, and the CEO and close associates confirm the following:

USB 3.0 is for power supplement only
Ethernet plug is of no use since Exa Arcadia is intent to be standalone, meaning no internet connection nor local area network (LAN). Local multiplayer by JVS IO boards.

Looking forward to operating this one day. Got to find a good cabinet and a business willing to borrow from me.

In case you didn't know, you can use it to power one of these so you can use a console controller and hook it up to your TV by HDMI.

That IONA JVS to USB converter fits into the JVS USB slot because the IONA specifically fits into JVS slot, not the generic USB 3.0 slot. The USB 3.0 slots are blue while JVS USB is black with JVS sticker on it.

Gamepads cannot be plugged into the USB slots of the Exa, but only that JVS IONA converter board with those USB player slots.

As SuperPang says, you can use exA's USB slot to power the MP07-IONA-US.

@Nomax

I see at a recent arcade event in Belgium, the Namco Noir cabs are sporting marquee art, seemingly designed for the Noir.

Out of interest, are these custom made or available by special request?

They are custom made by SophieKitty. I wish that official ones were available.

PSA:
Akai Katana Complete LEs are about sold out for good.

Touhou is the most anticipated arcade game in Japan since before the pandemic started.
Every single day at Hey, lines were seen from store open to close.
Systems are in high demand in Japan and will be sold out for months soon.
