Video distortion & position issues about some PCBs

Post by yonggarri »

Hello guys.

I'm playing bubble bobble redux & snow bros 1 bootleg pcb with supergun but I have some video issues.

The upper part of bubble bobble is distorted like this.
The screen is displayed well with LCD TV or arcade cabinet, but when I try to record the game(with any media players) with desktop monitors, this happens.
Is this the problem of supergun, or monitor?
(This game doesn't seem to support sync function)

and snow bros has screen position issue.

As you can see, the position of screen is low.
(This appears with both TV and desktop monitors)

If I turn on sync function of supergun, it moves a little lower and I can't lift it up any more.
and when I turn the h-pos lever, the bottom part of the screen appears above.
When the position of screen is almost right, the screen starts rolling.
The arcade cabinet displays the full screen well so I think this is the problem of my TV and monitors but I'm not sure...

something to do with your settings in whatever emulator you are using, not my area of experience but i can clearly see that is the issue
