Pana Twin Fingerboard wiring

Post by atro »

Hi folks.

I'm helping out a brother with his Pana Twin. He got one without the Jamma loom, so I offered to help.

Altough I know the Jamma connector by heart, I have no clue for the fingerboard part. The thig is - all the wirign diagrams I found are in Japanese.
So I struggle to know where to solder. If from one side or another.

So, where it says "UP" on the picture, is it the male fingerboard "UP" (parts side) or is it the female connector?

Following the above scheme, should the wiring go this way or the opposite?

If someone can point out what are the UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT inputs, that would be very appreciated.

My buddy lives on the other side of the pond, so it would be very expensive to send this back to redo the wiring if it goes wrong.
Really no idea what the kanji stuff means.

Thank you all in advance.

Hi atro,

The picture you post was created by me in a Mahjong blog entry - hence the absence of up-down-right-left controls.

See here: http://psikyobabble.com/index.php/2016/ ... ng-pinout/

The "UP" in the picture, as you quite rightly deduced, refers to the parts side of the fingerboard.

Here is a quick and dirty response to your query which I snagged from Google images:

I hope this clears things up, but if not, feel free to give me a shout.

Cheers,

Ralph.
