You will have to get one with a built-in upscaler if you want to play any old-school JAMMA boards.

For Naomi & others with a VGA output, you will be fine, just connect the VGA output from the mobo to the monitor directly.

None that I know of. Since you're not willing to go with an external upscaler you're looking at getting something custom built.

Seems way overkill. Naomi hardly requires any power at all, 256 is basically just a PS2 so can't be much worse. I'm using a super compact 130 W power supply to run my Naomi 2 and 246 without problems. Type X has a built in power supply so doesn't need anything externally (aside from powering the I/O board).

I've got a PANA then a passthrough that i've wired to a Wei-ya upscanner so it outputs VGA - gimme a couple of days and I'll sort out a how-to.

If you buy a complete supergun you shouldn't need any other power supply. Well, unless it isn't JVS ready I suppose.

I only bought my power supplies (on eBay, no longer available it seems) because I am building my own superguns.
