So are you taking payments or the seller, and what happens if an item arrives with issues?

Yes I take the payment, subtract my commission from 10% and forward the money to the seller. If an item is faulty it will be taken back by the seller and the money (the return shipping cost has to be covered by the buyer) will be refunded. The packages are shipped insured, so a loss would be covered.

:shifty: I think this kind of forums are indicated to avoid any kind of intermediaries and massive fee payment, but I will not be the one who opposes those deals, everyone is free to do whatever they want

In fact, it shouldn't push up prices, as I'm reducing the selling price by 10%. If I overshoot the objective at the prices please let me know then I will adjust it. If the seller does not accept the lower price I will remove the product.

Are you guaranteeing this with your own money for your commission?

Does AO get a cut?

I offer this as help for people who don't have the time or the nerves to post everything in a forum, the good thing is that there will be less posts. I can also tell my contacts to post each one separately, but then each one makes a request before what it will be worth and each one a sale post. My goal is to help and not to shoot up the prices. - thinks about it.

I don't do it for free, it's time I invest, I answer questions, send photos, etc. 10% isn't much money, I don't get rich. What's wrong with that? Nobody but the seller loses anything. Of course it prevents bargains, but I will offer them every now and then in my own sales post.

So you advertise items here, take the money and pass it to the seller to deal with shipping, returns and anything else? Communications go through you, and buyer and seller remain strangers?

You answer questions with answers that are given to you by the seller, you send photos that the seller is taking for you. You're a relay.

I could almost understand the case for an intermediary where you have interested sellers that aren't fluent in English, but then again, the amount of times I read 'vendu', 'PM' and 'disponible' here, I don't think that is really an issue for anyone.

The problem isn't that the seller can't hire it here, i' m helping to find out the boards up to the sale, if the seller has no idea how to test them, if he has no idea for what price he can sell them and if he doesn't know which game it is. I'm asked again and again if I want to buy the collection, that's when the idea came to me. I can also stop that again, I just wanted to help and because I also want some of it, I demand commission for it. At £30 that's £3, I don't think that's excessive.

Exactly the buyer and seller remain strangers, not everyone has the nerves to be asked all the time, my mailbox is full to overflowing with questions about this and that. But I can guarantee that rare boards will show up, which would probably end up in the garbage otherwise. If the price is too high please let me know and I will set it lower after consultation with the seller or if he does not agree delete it from the list. I don't tolerate overdrawn prices, but I don't want to become a bargain market.

Some of your prices look okay to me.

The main issue is that if you take the money you are responsible for the sale. Anyone, including PayPal, will see it that way.

Also you have no feedback.
