Re: Locating stuff on Yahoo Auctions Japan
Anyone who has decent enough skills to locate me a used Lindbergh sitdown cabinet in Japan (Yahoo Japan or wherever)?
I've spent 2 evenings trying to test my skills in Japan, and me asking this question here, shows a bit what my results were...
Knowing the japanese search term would also already help me quite a bit

Andy, you of all people should know I'm a Sega fan, and if it hasn't got a Sega logo, I don't want it :p
I specifically want a Japan sitdown Lindbergh.
I already have the upright version on the way, but I want the Japan sitdown version next to it.

Good luck most Lindbergh universal cabs are leased.

There's a VF5FS DX set which includes 4 Lindbergh SD cabinets for sale ATM on Yahoo Auctions. http://smjsearch.com/cgi-bin/b.cgi?u49184841jiggymf wrote:Andy, you of all people should know I'm a Sega fan, and if it hasn't got a Sega logo, I don't want it :p

I would have bought it myself and then sell the 3 others cabs, but sadly the cabs are empty and I'm looking for at least one VF5:FS PCB.

Chances are you'll need to look regularly for a few years for something like that. It's not the resource it once was.

Yeah, I'm already convinced that finding parts for these cabinets will be nearly impossible, but how do I start looking??, I don't know the words in japanese and google translate won't do.SuperPang wrote:Chances are you'll need to look regularly for a few years for something like that. If you are using windows, enable the language bar. Select Japanese as the input language, then select Katakana as your input mode.copados33 wrote:Yeah, I'm already convinced that finding parts for these cabinets will be nearly impossible, but how do I start looking??, I don't know the words in japanese and google translate won't do.SuperPang wrote:Chances are you'll need to look regularly for a few years for something like that. Type in the words as you would in english. It 'should' come out about right most times.
Just be careful to hit ENTER before you use SPACE, otherwise it will attempt to convert what you have typed into Kanji.

Re: Locating stuff on Yahoo Auctions Japan
Is a 25, and I'm missing the coin slot, monitor bezel and one of the plastic handles in the back , the coin door is damaged, the previous owner ruined it drilling holes, but I think I can make a new one in a metal workshop.

Dreamcastgaga helped me import these from suruga-ya after I gave up finding it on Yahoo Japan auctions. I've been looking for the gold Saturn USB pad for a long time. The only ones I'm missing now are white (Mac) and white with orange buttons (from Puyo Puyo PC bundle).

Try searching コントロールパネル or コンパネ or パネル from within the Arcade section.
