Really like the Swing. One of the nicest looking 25” candies.

Lots of good cabinets popping up lately. I wish there was a reliable importer who could coordinate YAJ->USA delivery.

Good for him. Glad he has no regrets and he's enjoying it, but what's the difference between this 12k PCB and a £500/600 Nemesis PCB?SuperPang wrote:New owner seems happy. https://twitter.com/SHOKEN4/status/979695474553774081

That’s the sort of logic that sells £1000 hdmi cables. An RGB connected Sharp CRT can’t be bad.

That Bubble Hardware sounds terrible!Taken from BD wrote:
The Gradius board uses Konami's "Bubble System" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubble_System)
Unfortunately it's pretty volatile and therefore there aren't too many boards still working, so it's pretty rare!
Whilst there were some Gradius boards that use ROMs, they were very limited (possibly sent out to replace broken bubble system boards under warranty), so they're pretty rare!
Not sure which one this is, but that goes some way to explaining the cost.
Nemesis was released on a normal ROM board and is therefore more reliable, so less pricey.

There have a been a few over the last 2-3 years IIRC. Always the yellow model for some reason.
And why only Cutes ? Small enough to remain in a corner of a warehouse unnoticed for 20+ years ?
I don't remember seeing any NOS 29" or 25" cabs on YJA.

Must be the size. even Hikaru had loads in storage. They were relatively cheap a few years ago too.parodius wrote:There have a been a few over the last 2-3 years IIRC. Always the yellow model for some reason.
