Yeah to me there is no indication it's a taito cab, but I'm far from an expert on vewlixs

Aww okay, good to know, thanks guys. There are some clear signs but I thought maybe there was a chance it was a model for an unfamiliar game. Without knowing all the differences between Vewlix releases, thought it was worth a shot to ask.

is this legit? https://www.ebay.com/itm/CPS-Dash-1-5-Q ... SwggRf8YgB

i've been tracking this game for years and I've seen the price increase every time it comes up. I've seen a naked C&D board (not even guaranteed working according google translate) sell for maybe $800 on yahoo auctions. The last sale i saw here (granted, it was in a case) was $1k.

Have prices come down a bit, or is there some new bootleg mechanism method i'm not aware of?

The sellers other items include a mix of bootlegs and original pcb's so ... i dunno.

It's a conversion running decrypted roms. Definitely not worth the asking price. It doesn't even have the plastic case.

Ahhh ok thanks!!

One of the sellers screenshot says "By Turkish Bullet" on the bottom presumably because it's stolen from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQPiXqX4qEg

:palm: I understand the monetary motivation but this hobby is so wildly niche... I don't understand the need to deceive such a tiny market.

They look pretty decent.

He’s got a NAC for sale too, £2k. Unfortunately, really nasty cracks down either side of the CP.

All his Neo Geo cabs are wired for JAMMA, which is an odd choice...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Garou-Mark-o ... 890.l49292

I’ve been bidding on this but it’s finally too rich for my blood...

Full MVS set of Mark of the Wolves, looks pretty mint (not just the cart  )

It’s already £350, but if you’re a die hard collector, might be worth more to you...

Just down the road from me, but what a mess, looks like it’s been outside for too long.

Yeah it would take a lot of work to put right, and parts would most likely be a nightmare to find. A very cool and uncommon cab though.

It doesn't look that bad. It just looks dirty. I bet you could get it looking decent for very little money. Epoxy is cheap.

Tube looks to be in good nick too. The GMK-29 has a very nice picture IMO.

If it was next door to me, I would at least go see it and barter on it.

Assuming it works it's not a terrible price just for parts.

The pony is also mine lol, I do remember the chassis working better when I tried it a couple months back. tube is ok, I couldn’t get an image this time but probably needs some adjustments/recap.

With enough time/effort it’ll probably turn out nicely, just haven’t got enough time myself.

I’d take £350 if anyone’s interested, which is a decent deal imo

How did it get like that? Looks like it’s been left lying around for years. Such a lovely cab :-) but a big gamble on getting parts for it.

Do you still have the Neo cab that’s under wraps in your eBay picture.. which cabs do you have left from that lot? Would love to come and take a look.

Cheers
