Won't argue with that.

Yes, they are. People post pics of PCBs on forums or on Instagram or other social media, they won't even plug them in once. Then it's straight to the shelf.

For what it's worth nem, I have a mint collection of "rare/expensive" pcbs which I play and rotate often

Not condoning the prices, but I do like to own a pristine and complete copy of something I want to keep.

Also, that pink sweets will never sell for that price.

There's been a similar rate of inflation in other areas of the Japanese gaming hobby and yeah, it sucks for anyone trying to get into it now. As I've said before, I wouldn't be able to acquire half the stuff I have now.

At least the market isn't "sealed game" level of madness. I still maintain people are buying these PCBs to play. They were made in the low hundreds so the price rise was probably inevitable.

I wouldn't spend 3 grand on Pink Sweets, but then I won't sell it either, which is something of a paradox, and there's probably a bunch of people like me which only reduces supply. And yes, my Pink Sweets spends most of its life in a cupboard because I have a lot of games to play as well as other hobbies. It has never featured on Instagram however, you'll have to subscribe to my Onlyfans to see it.

Don't be daft, no way!... Simply not worth it. He's trying to sell.. I'm feeling better seeing that lump of cash in my bank than seeing another box sat on the shelf.
Again I have no words... The guy who bought the extortionate Ibara kit price will have to buy it, besides I don't think he sold that to be truthful...

They used to have a cap of £70 on final value fees but not any more so now I only sell expensive stuff when I get a FVF offer.

Oh, I actually forgot of the higher ebay fees!?, oh dear.
Well, the guy is completely off with pricing.. , I investigated pricing on that kit and decided to make an offer on that of £2300..going by what people were advising price wise.. He refused and actually increased the price from 3250- to bam!? 3750, its pink sweets for freaks sake, think I paid 800 gbp years ago.

Whats an FVF offer ? (sorry if im stupid but i just cant figure it out?)

Im just looking in from the outside, minty cave kits are few and far between these days, its a strong sellers market, outrageus or not i think eventually it will sell, its kinda the state of the world right now.

Besides if you do a quick ebay search on "cave jamma pcb" the price doesnt even stick out from what else is on there... :eh:

Final Value Fee. The offers ebay punt out to sellers regularly in the UK that limit how much it costs to sell an item.

If Tops sold a bare PCB for 348,700 yen in December, then I agree with sven.

Tops won't mark down the value on the PCB either (I've tried).

£2,260 + 20% VAT = £2711

+ 200-300 for a mint box
+ 200-300 for the art set
+ 100-150 for the poster

£3211-3461

That's not to say you won't find one cheaper on a forum or yahoo.

No one wanted my pristine Bakraid when I offered it for 1200-1300. As soon as the yahoo auctions went nuts, the same people messaged me asking if I still had it :palm:
