Retro Scaler A1

Post by invzim » December 30th, 2019, 4:23 pm

I just finished the Retro Scaler A1, a 15kHz->31kHz , specifically made for Arcade PCB's and perfect for the Naomi Universal cab.

It even has a spiffy aluminium enclosure :)

How fast does it resync to 240p/480i changes of some games? (Final Fantasy)

I don't have proper measurements, but on my CRT it's about 1 second including my reaction time in the Dreamcast 240p test suite.

It only does line-doubling, so 480i content that is 'high-res' flickers.

The NOK currency has tanked, meaning 2000 NOK is not what it used to be in USD/EUR etc - grab your A1 today :)
