Re: NNC coin door key.

Jesus! That expensive?
Never thought much about the locks to be honest.

The spare one i had (on the right) has 5575 on the side.
The one that was inside the bucket is very similar if not identical but says G11231.

Re: NNC coin door key.

I'm not at home at the moment, but I'll check for you later tonight when I get back :) Nevermind mate, i drilled it since i had a spare lock. But! After opening it there was the bucket and a new pair of sega keys with a lock! Yay! Added a shot of the coin counter just for the heck. The lock is the ...

Re: NNC coin door key.

It's not just stiff/stuck is it? My nnc's have the same locks on the coin doors as everywhere else... If not then probably drill the centre of the lock to release the tang on the back. Can you check if the face of the lock is a bit bigger than the other locks on your NNC? Because it just seems to b...

Sorry for the ignorance but, what size of drill should i use, and where should i make the hole?

NNC coin door key.

Im looking to get some AO tokens so i can coin up on my new net city.
The problem is, i have a sega key and sega locks on the cab, but the coin door lock seems to be the same type, but its a bit bigger.
The key fits fine but i can't seem to open it.

Whats the best way to remove/open these locks?

Savest way - I guess - is playing all games at the same resolution, so there is no need to switch it.
Exactly. That's what i thought.

Changing games/resolutions on the fly will eventually kill an arcade monitor?

I have been wondering about this problem for some time now. As the monitor is the most fragile and fiddly part of the arcade cab, i want to have it stay healthy and working for as long as possible. If you have an emulation setup in a cab (with crtemu drivers and so forth), with multiple games wich r...

Re: Importing Candy Cab Within Europe [NNC Bought from RKLOK]

Thank you.

It was hard work having to do the disassembly and assembly back to back, on the same day , to get it into the apartment.
Just having it on attract mode is so enticing to play.

Im pretty stoked!

RKLOK is a top fella as well.

Re: Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Sound issue

Information: When you connect a daughterboard with 8-BIT QSOUND sample ROMS like yours, the sockets 11 and 12 on the B-Board get disabled so it doesn't matter if you have stuff connected to 11 and 12 on the main B-Board. It might be possible to fix your daughter board, but we need to figure what is...

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Sound issue

I have an original non Phoenix'ed blue SSF2T with sound issues. Everything on the board works great except the sound; there's some frequencies that distort weirdly and in some tracks when there is a bit of a quieter part you can hear a high pitched whine. I have tried multiple A boards with the same...

Re: Importing Candy Cab Within Europe

Yes, you have a point, lately i have been convincing myself more that this is the case. I asked RKLOK the other day, what was his experience until now, shipping these machines through all of europe. And even though he's selling the stuff, and the salesman's words are usually less valuable than the f...
