Re: Naomi Sanwa Monitor Fault

No worries. It's only sat taking up space, I'd rather see it put to good use :) I'll see if I can strip it in the morning for you :whoopsie: It will hopefully bring my first and only cab back from the dead - So yes, its definately being put to good use! :D My Naomi is for life, not just for Christm...

Re: The Ultimate Candy Cab'

Actually... This is all gonna be irrelevant 12 months down the line when you have 4 cabs. Funny you should say that - I have a friend with 3 Naomis, a Lindbergh and an old SNK Candy. Thats where my interest was sparked for a Naomi. I said i want one, just one, to mainly play Zero 3, but will obviou...

Re: The Ultimate Candy Cab'

So many nice cabs! I do like that New Astro City, how much do they usually fetch in clean condition? How about a Capcom "Status" ?- from the makers of Street Fighter. http://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/images/thumb/9/9f/CapcomStatusFlyer.jpg/429px-CapcomStatusFlyer.jpg Who needs 6 buttons when you play chu...

Re: Naomi Sanwa Monitor Fault

Thanks for the intel guys. To fix or not to fix.. that is the question, I suppose I could just about afford £150 on a new monitor, but that would be breaking the bank... especially this time of year. As regard to the Tri-Sync, thats cool if you want to play multi type games on your cab, I will only ...

Re: Naomi Sanwa Monitor Fault

http://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=21965 I believe the 666a being sold here will fit your tube. If you can confirm that it will, £80 shipped is a good price. How exactly would I confirm that? I know nothing of monitors... You might well find a chassis cheaper with a wanted on here pe...

Re: Naomi Sanwa Monitor Fault

Damn £95, Ive already spent so much on my cab. Ive noticed you can get 2 types of monitor for the Naomi - The Sanwa and the Nanao, I was wondering if any produce a better picture than the other? What I mean by that is if I ended up buying a new monitor would I get a better picture than my sanwa if I...

Naomi Sanwa Monitor Fault

Hi could somebody please advise me as to anything I could possibly repair/replace as apose to forking out for a new monitor. If you think the monitor has had it, then I guess I will have to buy one. My cab is a Naomi Universal with Sanwa 29E31S monitor. I had completely stripped, cleaned and repaint...

Re: Super Hyper Street Fighter Twin Turbo Champion Edition

Wow, really suprised that Zero/Alpha 3 and SSFIV were not more popular. Oh well, I definately wont take ANY sf2 choice away from anyone, sf3 though - I never was a massive fan of that series compared to the rest. I do agree that the anouncment speech is pretty gay in Z/A3, but I think the games good...

Re: The Ultimate Candy Cab'

Yeah, thats the problem - I like the look of them all really, obviously the older ones look more sharp, and blocky.. kind of like an '80s car! Then they evolve into more rounded, modern style. Ok then, what would be the correct aged cab to use with a SF2 game?

The Ultimate Candy Cab'

Hi all, I bought my first cab around two months ago - a sega naomi. Ive always wanted an upright wooden cab, (cause thats what i grew up with here in England) to play a jamma set up with a SF2 game - SF2WW, SF2CE, SSF2T, any SF2 game really, but I saw my mates chopped Naomis about 4 months ago and f...

Super Hyper Street Fighter Twin Turbo Champion Edition

Post your favourite Street Fighter title and explain why its your fave. You can choose a SF cross over title if you wish, but not a non SF cross over title with SF characters, such as MVC. It all began for me with SF2 World Warrior (and the rest of the world), so Im tempted to choose that for nostal...

I know its been out for ages now, but i was just curious about other players opinions on 'SF X T'. Ive been a life long fan of Street Fighter, the best beat em up series in existance in my opinion. I really liked the early Tekkens too, however I never bothered to follow the franchise after PS2 (Not ...

Re: Naomi six button control panel wiring question...

Hi guys, I can confirm that the two pin connector in question is indeed for the main earth wire bolted to the control panel main metal back plate. So you think its ok to leave this unplugged? There is an earth wire close by, screwed into the left hand side of the IO board fixing plate, so I could ut...

Naomi six button control panel wiring question...

I have a Naomi which had a two button set up per player as it was a Virtua Tennis cab. I have bought a complete six button control panel to replace it so I can play Street Fighter, but I have noticed that it has extra connectors. My original panel had a yellow block connector and a white block conne...
