Re: DoDonPachi Dai-ou-jou (all formats/versions)

Nice :D I'm going to play some Battle Garegga next. That's another one that I've sunk a ton of time into but haven't gotten close to the clear. I can see myself coming back to DOJ in a little while to try to unlock the second loop. hm, garegga never clicked with me for some reason. I had the same p...

Re: I'm just not feeling it...

I've heard a lot of people who dislike mortal kombat because of its rigid fighting system. personally I liked it. MK itself was decent as a novelty for the time but hasn't really stood up as well as MK2 or 3. In versus they're good for some bouts, but I'm not sure why anyone would play 1P nowadays....

i agree with this, but at least the scenery doesnt kill you if you get stuck somewhere. Sometimes its difficult to tell where you can or cant walk.

Re: Cleaning Blast City

Agreed those things work awesome, just dont use them on any of the clear plastic bits (header card etc). Also be careful when using them on the monitor bezel as mine seemed fond of chewing through some of the black paint. yeah, they can be very abrasive. I also suggest using Goo Gone to remove any ...

Re: I'm just not feeling it...

Guwange and ESP Ra.De . I first came across them a few years ago when a friend was introducing me to bullet-hell games available in MAME. I really liked DonPachi and DoDonPachi , so figured I'd like these, too. Nope. When Guwange was released on the XBLA a while back, I handed over my 800 MSP, grab...

What made it so much more exhilarating, was that I wasn't playing by myself in a quiet environment, with no distraction. All sorts of family was over visiting, kids were screaming, there was smoke in the air, my brothers were on the blast city right next to me button mashing away at Marvel vs Capcom...
