Re: Taito Type X+

Well that does seem like a stupid way to set things up, having some games just unplayable after a time. Is there a list some place of which games have dongles and which look for the decryption in bios ? You have to realize that the last thing on Taito's mind is the aftermarket sales of their hardwa...

Man, that Smurfgret II is such an eyesore... Somewhat reminds me of these two cabs: https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/s480x480/e35/18443385_380496305681097_422452240205217792_n.jpg I'm the type of guy that prefers the original look and feel of these cabs over anything else so just can't...

Went to a buddy's arcade the other day and found Sexy Parodius on the MAME cab he had there. Learned to love that game over again just while playing there. Been playing it every day since then :D .

Re: Painted candys, any out there?

I've got an E29 where one of the past owners painted the cab black and the surround red. It looks horrid imo. It's in for a restoration in about a year.

Re: Capture from Jamma?

Im often watching the runs from "CAVE PCB" (Member here?) on youtube and those captures are really good. That's my channel. It's a series of correct steps as opposed to buying a magic device. If you skip any 1 step you'll probably hose the whole thing. I use a Dazzle USB converter with S-Video and ...

Re: Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition :awe:

You should point out the big news about it, being that it will be releasing with the previously unreleased Star Fox 2 game! Now, the one available on the internet is just a beta so let's hope they end up using the full version of the game with the unit. You might say, "why wouldn't they, that's dumb...

Re: Token, Dublin

The only thing I don't understand is why over 18' s only ,it rules out a lot of families out for a bite .I passed it the last day I was in Dublin but it wasn't open yet. We've got similar rules here, but it's below 21 as that's the drinking age here hehe. However, they make it so anyone below that ...

Re: Token, Dublin

Tried to look for pics, but couldn't seem to find too many. Very cool stuff though! Got a barcade that's really nice here in Los Angeles called Button Mash. One of the things I really appreciate about the place is that they have you use tokens instead quarters in the machines. The tokens are even on...

Aeros - Why are there Two Areas for Start Buttons?

I can't be the only person who has wondered this. Both the CP and CP upper have holes for player 1 and 2 start buttons. Anyone know why this is? Only thing I can think of is Sega was anticipating that some operators might use other types of CPs that didn't have start button holes. However, I have se...

Re: Anybody in the US own an unconverted Dinosaur King?

Also, charging $1000 for a Mushiking is ridiculous, but if someone wants it enough they will pay for it. Honestly, a few hundred is more doable for something like that. Atst, there is demand for those cabs because everyone has seen conversion done with them and wants to do it themselves. However, as...
