Re: Can anyone tell me which ROM this is...

Try holding the test button down while turning it on and continue to, it resets the cache on most Konami PCBs. Actually, that just resets the EEPROM data which saves game settings and the like. :) Many ppl don't even know about it and it gets corrupt more than it should, I snagged a X-Men 6 player ...

I have all the relays, diodes and switch. I'm just waiting for some wire to arrive and then I'll have a play. I'll check that I'm getting the right outputs from the relays with a meter before I wire them up to the mobo etc.
Nice, let us know how ya make out.

Do you know Why Only capcom boards have noise on cyberlead??
Like SP said from the stock PS, most likely it either draws more off the 12v line or has a smaller tolerance on voltage.

Are you getting small vertical lines on the screen by chance?

What he is referring to is Magnetic Field Collapse. A diode in place would stop any reverse induction. Call it a protection measure for your power supply.

85 has to goto ground on all relays for the relay to even function. I'll have to read about diodes as I've never used them with relays.

Re: Ps2 Controller Ports for System 246/256?

I think you could plug in your PS2 pads into Certain Tekken 4 arcade machines, other than that i dont think they had any other purpose. You mean in the sent that you could only use it on tekken 4 or just that it was simply so you could play with a ps2 controller then the arcade sticks? The Tekken 4...

Re: Switching power between Naomi Mobo and Namco Jamma>JVS

I suppose a TPTT would work if they existed but a quick google seems to show that they don't. You want a 3PDT to accomplish all 3 voltages to 2 outputs. They are easy to find as well, search "3PDT On - Off - On". http://www.electro-tech-online.com/attachments/general-electronics-chat/8375d115077504...

Yes, that would work with 12v relays as well. Better off going with a switch.
