Re: What obscure PCB(s) are in your collection that you love

SUPER BUBBLE 2003, by Limenko a Korean company. Very funky JAMMA motherboard/cart based system with only a handful of games released. Bubble 2003 is a cross between bubble bubble and snow bros and plays really well with super cute graphics.

Re: Taito and Sega online arcade services

Does anybody have Taitotech access?, I noticed they added some lovely dedicated Nesys control panels but a login is required to view the current catalog. :problem:
Presumably one of the shops in Japan or somebody in the trade over here is able to order kit for individuals?

Atomiswave, anybody tried 2 player on LAN?

Hi, Has any member setup a number of Atomiswave boards using LAN? , I assume once you enabled the net card in the settings and another Atomiswave is discovered some additional screen appears that allows you to challenge? Thinking (crazy idea :D ) about using EOIP to route the data over the internet ...

Re: (Mediocre) Article on (European) Arcades in EDGE

Agree, loads of interesting games still being produced, look at the new Taito network system etc, WSM is going to target machines for the holiday maker. Whilst 'dedicated' arcades may not be at their peek you would think journalists in the technology sector would have realized , everything goes in c...

Re: (Mediocre) Article on (European) Arcades in EDGE

as a subscriber of the Edge since the first edition , my own view is that it went off the rails quite a few years back - if they had looked out of their window they would have seen arcades very much alive and kicking. These days I now much prefer GamesTm and other alternatives more often than not. I...

BBC Click - Japanese gaming feature

Interesting feature, some candy cab action included "While it's taken years for games to become mainstream in the West, videogames are now as much a part of Japanese popular culture as the Walkman and Anime. Their influence can be felt all over popular Japanese culture but, as Western developers are...
