Re: Finally, a good South Park game

rumors say that all uk Versions are uncensored by mistake. That'd be not so surprising if they made a UK version of the disk, as Ubi usually does to prevent import from the rest of europe (sneaky b-tards). Will be confirmed soon anyhow. Good offer on PC http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/south-park-st...

Re: Finally, a good South Park game

360 version is locked. This is not only a good south park game, it's the best TV show based game Ever, brilliant from end to end. As a massive SP fan I really really enjoyed it, I have the PC version in the post at the moment, impatient I finished it on ps3 over the week end (yes, not legally :awe: ...

Re: Following my own instructions (recommend me some games?)

I use a Ati X300 (old but perfectly fine still) which allows more modelines (due to using the old version of the ati driver). I paid £9 for it shipped, and it's half size, perfect for compact desktop computers. pics: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-g4_Z6Lwx1Bo/UqxFBxzyOxI/AAAAAAAAB6Y/rgtKPqw2uzM/...

Re: Following my own instructions (recommend me a controller

Awesome, I'll go back to my setup when I'll have some free time. We are doing the exact same thing, it'd be awesome to have a nice guide on this on the wiki.

/!\ The physical VGA port on ATI cards usually can't output the 15khz... Keep the DVI-VGA adapter close :p

Re: Following my own instructions (recommend me a controller

Hey cools, nice little project, I'm bound to do the same (already started, compact PC from HP + VGA to Scart cable). If you want to prevent 31k signal to the monitor, here's a trick I used in the past : Controlling a relay via the COM port of the motherboard. Trhu a little program you activate a pin...

MameHUB - Play mame with your mates!

Hi guys, Thought I'd share my evening's discoverings regarding online play (or netplay) with emulators/mame As an ol'timer with emulators, I always relied on Kaillera for this, but I could not stand the bugs and awful lags even with mates not far away. So I went looking for an alternative and found ...

Don't do it on the control panel, sweat, heat, rubbing ( :awe: ) will kill the paint.

Re: Hook Up My Xbox 1 to Monitor Arcade Cabinet

You'd need something like this to amplify the video signal to monitor levels:

Look up posts/articles online about consoles in cabs, you'll find loads of tutorials.

Re: Hook Up My Xbox 1 to Monitor Arcade Cabinet

For the picture and sound, easy enough yes, you need a lm1881 to modify the sync signal (sync stripper from composite video) and get a picture. Video signal also usually needs to be amplified to get to the level the monitor expects (as opposed to scart level which TVs are designed to use but not mon...
