Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

Could someone explain what magic resolutions are? I see they involve very wide resolutions but I'm not sure I understand the point.

Edit: Found the wifi for CRT_emudriver, I'm good on magic/super resolutions.

Also, just found a 4890 card on the swedish ebay for cheap, happy!

Re: jvs->jamma: need simple help

I would check your ground and synch signal. http://www.cosam.org/images/sgun/pinout.png Pin P for Synch and 14 for the ground. If you still have an unstable picture, it might just be that your converter is not properly configured and is not outputting 31k signal to your naomi. What screen do you hav...

Re: jvs->jamma: need simple help

S = Horizontal synch
VS = Vertical synch

Some monitor take both on the same cable, some on separate. Juste put both cable on the same pin of your jamma loom.

Great tutorial cools, I'm using an cheap PC under XP x64 (such a pain to install, couldn't find x64 drivers for the sound card, had to use USB sound card).

I'm giving the 31k mode only a go has the 15k mode on my ms2931 is a bit rough on the eyes.

Re: Open source JVS I/O to pc interface (WIP: Analog, Lightg

Thanks, I'm trying to find a cheap way of getting this to work. It will not be as pretty as a JVS Pac but if I can get one working for 10-15€ I would be happy.

Re: Need help with a dead Type X2

Swapping CPU will be straightforward if you have thermal paste around as it is mandatory to change it when removing and replacing the CPU + heatsink. I would try one of those cheap PCI diagnostic card, it will tell you if something is wrong https://www.hasntfiguredouthowtoembedyoutubeproperly.com/wa...

Re: Naomi Net Booting advice

Okay, sorry If I came across a little rough.

The " :awe: " was supposed to tell Supertakumar that he could've asked the question with a little more info than just "I want to run several blasts on naomi and netboot the games".

All the info on this is available online, from many different sources.

Re: Open source JVS I/O to pc interface

a French bloke on gamoover is quite the expert on analog JVS, he hacked wiimotes and sensor bars to make guns for gun games on naomi.

If you need any help translating stuff, I'm French so I can help.

Yes, those definitely are pretty cool to display marquees, of even DMD's on virtual pinball machines.

Re: Monster Land English : from Encryption to Decryption...

Agreeing with Cools, even if you control the eeproms (burn them and send them out) they will be dumped and shared and yes, conversions will pop up after some time.

Sinon, super boulot! Félicitations ;).

I'll be damned, I didn't think publishers had the choice in locking the games on the PS3. My mistake.

It can't be region locked, such system does not exist on the PS3.
