Re: Blast City - possible convergence issue

I did (badly) the same convergence adjustment a few month ago (blast city, ms2931)

do it in 31k, the defects are more precise in hi resolution. Even if you dont fix it perfectly you will see that in 15k is will barely show anymore.

Re: JVS-PAC feature requests

Hey! The one issue I had with the JVS-Pac that have annoyed me is the fact that if the PC USB ports are powered when the PC is off when the JVS IO is powered on again the JVS-Pac has to be rebooted otherwise it is stuck. Is there any way for a soft reset of the JVS-pac to be implemented when that ha...

Re: Naomi CF with normal non-net-DIMM

Because it needs a custom BIOS that is very old and thus does not support dimm boards (net or not)

Re: Naomi CF with normal non-net-DIMM

Just got confirmation that you still need to desolder the tsop for the update (again on gamoover's topic). with the recent hacks to the bios we are just seeing the beggining of a lot of new stuff on naomi soon!

Exhibit A:

Re: Naomi CF with normal non-net-DIMM

From what I have read on Gamoover (where it all started) a guy made a hacked firmware for non net dimms and flashed it manually (unsoldering the eeprom and flashing it). From there, talks about making an unofficial update gd rom to allow easier updates of the dimms, but haven't seen anything in the ...

Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

Why do you compile it chubsta? Any extras compared to the stock one that already has nonag and hiscore support?

I would go with Core2, most recent intel CPU.

I had a micro atx tower fit inside my blast, it will fit. I ended up fixing the atx case to the wood board and it still fits.

Re: Affixing SEGA Blast City speaker grills?

I had/have the same issue with my blast. They are a bitch to fix. I used a hot glue gun like you, ain't perfect. I think Sega used cloth tape originally.

Acetone will soften everything, the glue and the button.

Are you trying to save the buttons? If not, I would dremel them. Otherwise, good luck!

Re: Help getting a 15khz signal

confirming what has been said above, use the 1st video output of the 4350, usually it is a DVI-I plug. a DVI-VGA plug is the way to go.
