Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

Yes, hyperspin wheels and emumovies videos. If you wait a few days there's a new version of the front end coming out that will have that layout included. Its available now separately if you check the github page as well. The filters I think I've posted here somewhere. Think i'll wait for attract mo...

Re: Driveclub

It's weird as this fps stuff is very subjective, and imo highly based on the whole rather than just the fps counter. I've played FH2 demo fairly extensively. That's at 30fps and the controls are very tight and the game plays smoothly. I've been spoilt by PC racers I guess....I'm sure it will please...

Re: Driveclub

Lets' hope it's running at a faster framerate than when I played it!! I thought it was locked to 30fps? I hope not, I found it very distracting! Particularly when more cars were on screen...Pretty graphics are all fine and well but to have a driving game running at 30fps in this day an age is quite...

Re: Anyone stroking themselves over the PS4 launch announcem

Went into my local game yesterday only to see they had a demo version of Drive Club! :awe: Had a quick blast....looks pretty enough, rendering of cars was great and environment lighting was amazing. Based on a very quick game it felt like a NFS/Forza mashup...one thing though and im sure this is onl...

Re: Mame in cab thread. Frontends, gamelists, configuration

None of my filtering uses nplayers BTW, have you found a good use for it? Not really, just for no. players info but at least it's being updated now. So setup the verticools layout...looks nice and clean...would work well for a dedicated vert setup. I've gone back to my ol "cools magic" layout. No f...

Re: Mame in cab thread. Frontends, gamelists, configuration

The PlayStation based stuff needs a lot too, especially now that the sound is getting done on some of it. Once mark has verified some stuff I might upgrade my old P4 based one Playstation based, ST-V and cave stuff are the only reason to consider anything above an i5. I can confirm that my i7 2600k...
