just want to point out that some jamma looms have video ground on pin 14 and some have it on pin 1, some game boards have video ground on pin 14 and some on pin 1- if you link 14 to 1 quickly then you can prove it

its not a chassis fault 100%
Thanks. I'll test this out.

Re: Nanao MS9-29A image rolling

i reckon that is a video ground problem, you may need to link the video ground pin 14 to ground pin 1 I initially thought ground issue too... I've checked continuity between all ground points and I get the good old "beep" on the multimeter. Checked a different cab and still the same issue. I'll con...

Wells Gardner 27" 27D9204

My search for a 31khz monitor to put in my Sega universal cab yielded this: a Wells Gardner 27" 27D9204 https://www.highway.net.au/arcade-parts/monitors-chassis/inch-wells-gardner-arcade/9803-33.html Does anybody have any experience with this tube/chassis combo? I searched quite a bit for this parti...

Re: Vewlix: Replace easily your screen with a 1080p or 1440p monitor

Doesn't the vewlix c already have a 1080p monitor? In theory, no matter if you get a vewlix f, c, l, diamond, chewlix, a 32" monitor is pretty much all the same in measurements, it's just a matter of how much bezel and frame there is externally which a number of monitors in this thread have shown is...

Also you are taking some flak on arcade projects for your methods but I don’t see any problem at all for home use.
Got a link? I tried finding the thread on AP, but couldn't find it.

Re: Chewlix C (Chinese Vewlix Capcom)

The monitor in there at the moment is actually (I believe) a native 1080p panel (the chewlix was modded by an eu company - Neolegend) and this is part of their old set up so I’m confused myself as to why it’s dvi only and no HDMI (Sharp is the brand but can’t see a mode number) Yeah mine is definit...

Re: Chewlix C (Chinese Vewlix Capcom)

 bro I have no idea how to light up the light of the cabinet I have just the wire cut down and no idia how to make it work You need to tap into the 12v source (assuming your lighting is 12v) from the power supply and run a wire (I'd use 18-20 awg) from the + component of the LED strip light in...

That is crazy high end! I won't be upgrading to a 1440p setup anytime soon...

I probably would upgrade the speakers though.

Re: Vewlix: Replace easily your screen with a 1080p or 1440p monitor

I don't feel any difference between this one and the previous monitor i had, so i'm good. I don't think there are input lag values available for this panel anywhere, though. Sweet! I might seriously consider this as I've been having some issues with my monitor when I put it on a switcher and splitt...

I used the LG 32MP58HQ.
It's a 1080p IPS panel.
I'm assuming lag is non-existent on the monitor?

Thank you for this thread planning on getting a vewlix this year. Do you have any recommendations for a 1 ms monitor 1080p?
Yeah I'd be interested to know of a 1080p model too.

One that you don't have to debezel and keep the glass frame on would be awesome.
