Re: Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition :awe:

Then why do you want a SNES mini? http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/2013/07/Jenna-Mind_blown.gif 1. For collection as it's a genuine Nintendo product and not expensive 2. For some of the games that nowadays cost a fortune on secondary market. 3. For Starfox 2 4. For being mini and easy to transport whe...

Re: Paprium

For a MD game, it looks awesome. Indeed, as a user pointed before, it has something from Eternal Champions in the graphics style (which is not at all a bad thing).

Re: New Net City Buyers questions

Awesome cabs if you like JVS games. I have 2 NNC cabinets that I love. If you want to play JAMMA games in such a cab, beware: the JAMMA to JVS adapter is more than 200 euros!!!! As NEM said, the white plastic from the monitor's mask tends to go yellow fast. There are cabs which are repainted by the ...

Re: What Street Fighter games have you played?

I played all the 2D street fighters to death. Such good memories from this series: I was the only kid having Street Fighter alpha on my street. I had a Saturn when everyone was stuck with their Megadrives. Street Fighter 2 World Warrior was the first arcade game I have ever played. It is one of my f...

Re: Lesser known fighting games others ought to play

How about Last Bronx? Excellent gameplay and graphics for it's time. I played the game a lot with a friend of mine on Saturn between 98-2002. I was mainly playing Kurosawa. I remember I also bought the PC version that had a training CD with lots of combos for each character that were extremely diffi...

Re: Lesser known fighting games others ought to play

FV2 is amazing. The parry mechanic makes it one of the best 3D fighting games out there. https://shoryuken.com/2014/09/08/death-crunch-smashing-through-the-cage-of-fighting-vipers-2-with-heidi-zero-chan-kemps-and-heruru/ ^ A good read. Re: Lesser known fighting games others ought to play

I would recommend Fighting Vipers 2. The first game was quite a hit, but the second passed under the radar, even though it has no major flaws. It is a good follow-up to the original and a game worthy to check.

I think you need a special cable made for NTSC systems. Apparently it is not compatible with PAL Saturns. I found this on Ebay:

Re: WTF happened to Sega Saturn collecting

Me neither, once you have tried 60 there is no going back. Indeed, Pal conversions are quite **** when it comes to speed and black borders (but this can be overcome easily from the TV menu). There is a small redemption though: the european consoles output native signal in progressive scan at 240p. ...

Re: WTF happened to Sega Saturn collecting

geosnow wrote:why bother collecting 50hz games?

Because I grew up with them and I like those long boxes :D . I collect Saturn games from all regions because I have a 50-60 Hz switch and an Action replay that bypasses the region lock
