Re: What kind of mountingplate will I need for Seimitsu LS-32-01

Watch out, if I look at the white welded plate in your picture, I'm almost certain a S-shaped (actually U-shaped) plate will not fit in! The outer distance between the U-legs of the U-plate is about 78 mm. So you will have no choice then to use flat plates, which is what you have now. I don't know i...

Re: Stool / Bench

xlr8d: I love your stools. I would like to have some genuine Sega benches sometime, but at the moment I use an ordinary in hight adjustable office chair. At the lowest point I have plenty of room for my legs under the controlpanel, it turns to the left and right, it has elbow rests, a nice and high ...

Re: Where did you get your cabinets?

And here some happy people.(pictures/first cab order) And I was (am) one of these lucky ones. As mentioned earlier R.klok is setting up a new group order for Egret II and Blast City Cabs (see his post on this forum somewhere). He deals a lot on Ebay and he is specialized in Japanese game items (gam...

manual of nvs-4000-01 wanted

In my new astro city sits a nvs-4000-01 psu (see picture). Most connections are not in use, but I am wondering what they are for. Does someone has a manual or something like that?

Re: help with saturn mgcd

I can't help you with this Saturn mgcd, but I made my own Saturn2jamma project. It's very simple to make, with low costs of parts. If you are interested, then follow the tutorial on this site. I did, and I have a very nice picture on my new astro city. http://www.mameworld.net/pc2jamma/ Unfortunatel...

This might be helpful :) (if you've got the balls to do it, which lets be honest, I haven't heh)
Indeed that looks very nice, but, uhm, I don't have the balls for that either.

How to rotate an Astro city Cab Monitor

I didn't make this tut, and I am not the person on some of the pictures. I found it somewhere on the internet, and I think it's pretty good. there are a lot of pictures and all credits go to the one who made it.

Re: How to determine Retro Gaming?

but what do you make of megaman 9? is that retro or just retro style, or maybe you have another name for it? discuss! That's a difficult one. I think the Megaman franchise is certainly a retro franchise, and the game design of Megaman 9 surely feels retro-ish. But I would not consider Megaman 9 to ...

How to determine Retro Gaming?

This is a question also very often asked in the RetroGamer Magazine and Forum. Some people think only 8-bit games are allowed to be called retro games!! These people claim these games have a special status because they were made in the early days of game development, and very often started all kind ...

Re: Mame Front ends in your cabs

On my desktop pc I just use GameEx. It's nice looking in high resolutions and very versatile. On both my cabs, of which one has an 15Khz arcade monitor, I use 3D-Arcade as a frontend. I like this frontend very much becaue you can adjust it just the way you want and it looks very good on a low resolu...
