Re: Noise problem with Nanao MS9

Anybody a clue how the following noise issue can be taken care of? Ihave another NAC with a similar problem. Noise on the screen, more visible with some games then others. The noise is more calm and runs from up to down, gets slower and then the other way around. Looks like a ground problem but i do...

Re: Getting -5v out of my NAC

Cool thank you. Where do I get the in voltage for it?
Also should I just solder the out voltage -5v directly to the jamma?

Getting -5v out of my NAC

Hi everybody,

I have problems running MK, KI and other boards needing -5v in my NAC.
Is there an easy solution to get the -5v without changing the PSU? And if I need to change it to an arcade PSU, is there an easy way?

Thanks in advance
Luciano

Noise problem with Nanao MS9

Hi, I have a problem with my Nanao MS9 in a NAC. When turning on, the geometry is off and the picture is smaller. There is also a crazy amount of noise on the screen, which also seems to distort and move some of the pixels. Adter about 20 mins the screen gets better, geometry and size return to norm...

Thank you!
More posters above the cabs is planned and LED spots is a great idea.

Re: 100 Mega Shock! Private arcade in Cologne, Germany

Finally all the cabs are working again!
Now we have only small things to add like decoration and stuff. There are some minor repairs for the cabs left as well. Will update soon :)

I could use a graily Egret 3 :)
Heavenly touches come often around here so the cab would feel like home.

Re: Framemeister mini

Honestly the lag of framemeister is not noticable, at least with my setup. And I am playing fighting games on a high level as 1ccing shmups.

Picture quality is great as well.

Re: 100 Mega Shock! Private arcade in Cologne, Germany

Sorry for the late update, but the last time was quite busy... Thanks for the positive feedback and I hope to see you in Cologne Com64 ;) We decided to put a carpet in since I found a really cheap solution. We now also have sofas, table, CRT, stools and so on. Noise reduction is also done. Next step...

Re: Framemeister mini

I am very happy with it, had the XRGB 3 before. There seems to be some measureable lag with the Framemeister, but I cannot feel it neither with Beat em ups nor with Shmups. The picture is great and you get scanline porn as long as you set it to 720p. With 1080p the scanlines don´t work well and you ...
