Re: NAOMI NET DIMM + "Portable" Option

The questions that weren't answered (I'm not being critical, just keeping focus :) ): An I/O is required in all scenarios...no way around that? Assuming the answer is yes, then the I/O has to be powered via the JAMMA connector ? And, I'm guessing that power via the JAMMA connector is the bare minim...

Re: NAOMI NET DIMM + "Portable" Option

If the IO is mandatory, then what is the minimum signals/power needed at the JAMMA connector that is connecting to it? To that end, is it necessary to have 2 power supplies - one NAOMI power supply for the NAOMI/NET DIMM setup, and one power supply for the JAMMA harness? With the PSU´s, either you ...

Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

I just stumbled about this video here: https://www.hasntfiguredouthowtoembedyoutubeproperly.com/watch?v=I32qKGR8AD8 This looks like Ray Crisis is working perfectly an Groovy MAME. Now with my installation the game isn´t working fluently at all. I´m still on v0.171, but the video is from 09-2015. Har...

Re: Aero City Buying Advice

He said 450$ for a the cabs? Or what do you mean with 4 units?
In case 450$ for everything, I would try to get the price down, but take it anyway.

Re: Database for dedicated cabinets?!

That's literally it, maybe system16.com otherwise? Don't get a database if no-one cares about the content ;) That´s just sad, that there is no place to find info about the the machines/games of the last two decades. :( Maybe it´s not retro enought... system16.com seems to have some pictures of the ...

Re: Database for dedicated cabinets?!

is there any interest and/or possibility to implement such thing into or beautiful wiki or something? Yikes, woodies on arcadeotaku?? :problem: Sorry, but most dedicated cabs are just part woodies. At least in my eyes, they are no real woodies. May I have to add that I talk about the big deluxe mac...

Database for dedicated cabinets?!

I don´t know if this is the right sub-forum for that thread. Is there any database for dedicated cabinets? I saw so many pictures from dedicated cabinets of games like Propcycle, Cyber Sled or Downhill Bikers. Lots of games I never heard of. I would be very interested in all the games and their dedi...

Re: Wei Ya C3129DS chassis not working

When powered the relais ( i think RL1) clicks unstoppable with approx 1 click per second. Also there is no nek glow. I do hear a very faint high pitch sound as i am used from crts. Where should i start troubleshooting? I would check supply voltage of the relais to see if the problem is with the vol...

Re: Cuphead

So here some news about Cuphead. It will be released on September 29. Seems it will be released for PC and Xbox only. Why someone would release a game for Xbox only goes beyond me, but the PC version is all I really need. http://www.hardcoregamer.com/2017/06/11/e3-2017-at-last-cuphead-has-a-release-...

Some parts of that cab look similar to the cab above. Seems to be the same manufacturer.

Ok, I see :eh: .
This only makes sense with 16:9 games, so I thought more of a dedicated cab.

Cab with 16:9 CRT?

I just wondered, if there was any cab released with a 16:9 CRT in it?!
I mean there are so many dedicated racing cabs etc. that I don´t know of and it doesn´t seem to be impossible to me.

Re: NANAO MS9 CRT replacing

Here's what I've been doing with some stuff from my local garbage disposal. Unfortunately a 29'' CRT is very hard to come by here in Sweden so I've collected a few 28'' instead to test with some MS9 left-overs, to rebuild a *new* 28'' NANAO MS9 monitor. http://neo.dyndns.tv/technical/Nanao_MS9_CRT_...

Re: Joystick for Sanwa panel

For Shmups the LS-56 is good. Even better with a stronger spring. And you definately should buy an octa gate. Which spring would you recommend and is it possible to just buy the spring in the UK? I'll be buying the octa gate add on for it too. Thanks Sorry I told BS. The sticks I use are LS-58 with...

I think it's sealing wax you are talking about.
