There's a new batch coming round, so hopefully no one bids too much over retail if it gets that high.

Re: Best affordable Vewlix clones in USA?

Did not know this about Coinopexpress though never did business with them. Good to know. What about arcadespareparts? My understanding is they're legit. But they're retail/distributor prices, which is just insane. $552 for a Daytona force feedback motor PCB? Nuts. :( $1235 for a Kraylix is cray imo...

Re: Best affordable Vewlix clones in USA?

You are an MVP. :D Exactly the info I was scouring the web for. Thanks. :) Unfortunately, I acted too quick. And just then, this thread popped to life, 16 hours later. I scoured the web like burnt-on grease. :problem: (Here, reddit, google, coinopexpress, Craigslist, Facebook) Nothing turned ...

Re: Best affordable Vewlix clones in USA?

Pragmatism time? Perhaps a high quality wooden clone for now, then try again in a year or two. You'll spend more doing this than just buying a Noir. Plus you'll have a rougher time reselling it as opposed to the Noir. Kraylix is $1235 before shipping, no joysticks or buttons, no PSU, no JVS I/O, no...

Re: Best affordable Vewlix clones in USA?

Does he import candy cabs, I wouldnt mind finding a NAC again next year or something :P 8-) On and off, but don't expect much beyond NAC/AC or sometimes NNC for CRT cabs unfortunately. He posts what he gets in over on the arcade-projects forums. He's a good guy to deal with. Can be hard to understa...

Re: Best affordable Vewlix clones in USA?

There's an importer, KC, selling a Vewlix F cab for 1700 (maybe it was 1800, but I think 1700) out of LA. Depending on your luck with shippers 300 might get it to you from here. If you decide you want his info, let me know and I'll pass it on. With how much they've come down in price (I paid 2300 fo...

Update: Nanao MS8-26 - Now we got a wobble

New update: we wobbling! Update: Recapped it, replaced Q401/402, and R433/436/ Noticed that Q533 is just plain missing on my chassis. It used to be there, as there's old solder where it was pulled. So what part number/value/what-have-you is Q533? :/ Picked up an Aero City last night with full vertic...

Re: Mini Cute replacement tube question

When in doubt about tube sizes, check the size chart in the wiki: https://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/CRT_designation_systems#Size_Chart_.28Color_Picture_Tubes.29 That's the first time I'm seeing that. What a great resource! I'd never noticed this resource either! Thanks PrincessPrinPrin! It looked like...

Mini Cute replacement tube question

A guy near to me has 18" Hitachi tubes available dirt cheap, all brand new old stock still in packaging. Any reason (other than maybe curvature) I can't swap one of these in as a replacement if the need ever arises?

I'm tempted to pick up a couple just as backups.

AX080B077H looks to be the model. It's a very nice screen, you can get 1080 out of it but it has to be adjusted.
Thank you!

For the record, still looking to know the panel model in the black.

Re: Any Vewlix Diamond Black owners out there?

If no one with a black chimes in, I have a blue diamond. It would take a bit to open it up but I could get model # for you. They have different monitors in them. The black has an even newer 1080p panel. I *am* curious about the panel in the blue though, as it's still a lot nicer than the one in my ...

Any Vewlix Diamond Black owners out there?

Hoping one of you might be able to tell me what the model of the LCD panel is in the cab!

I've got the whole monitor assembly number, but looking for the actual panel.

Re: New Jamma game - SKYCURSER

It's a bummer that "New JAMMA game" is essentially "New Linux game shipped with an entire PC we attached a JPAC to" though On the plus side you can **** all of that off and install name on it. :awe: I spent some time trying to do this, but I simply don't understand Linux well enough. The USB is a f...

Re: New Jamma game - SKYCURSER

I'm curious about the power supply. Any chance of some better shots of that from both sides? Looks like a PicoPSU or clone, but none of those run from the 5V rail. If its running on the 12V that means its likely putting a heck of a strain on most arcade PSUs. It is a PicoPSU. And it doesn't work wi...

Re: New Jamma game - SKYCURSER

Thanks, it does look pretty neat for being standard pc hardware though. Nicer and more compact than the typex/lingbergh which, apart from the semi-sexy lid on the case, look like our office pc's :) This has a lot lower system requirements is why they can get away with the tiny motherboard. It uses ...

Re: New Jamma game - SKYCURSER

Still pc+jpac inside i suppose? you can see in the latest pics it's still got a JPAC for the jamma edge. but would be nice to see a full internal shot. It's not much to look at, just an off the shelf PC motherboard, and audio amp, volume control pot, and an ATX 20-pin power adapter PCB that comes o...
