Re: exA-Arcadia

It's more like a console-like desk than a cab. And it'd be in a certain other gallery on this site if it didn't have an exa logo

Re: Arcade pcb prices of yesteryear

As you indicted the only regrets are monetary. Maybe should have waited a year more before offloading boards. I'm a gamer not a collector so i don't miss having half the room full of bubblewrapped computerboards.

Re: Scud Race Emulation

I've had it up and running for a while but playing with a wheel on a desk is not really my thing. I had expected that the 32" lcd racing cabs would get more abundant and cheap on local auction sites but that never happened. Before that i don't think i will get back into it.

Arcade Galactic (and Mr. JBRGB) will be overjoyed.
I can't think of a scenario where that would not have been the case, can you?

Who are you guys kidding, if this thing was made by Sega there would be plenty of people here pressing the "order now" button.

Keep in mind that the arcade cabinet is just a glorified 2 player controller with Narita Boy plastered all over. It is still a home console / PC game.

I saw that announcement as well.
You could paste the same text in the EXA topic for most games there :lolno:

I still think it looks interesting, although it would be nice to see some actual normal gameplay instead of this fast cut ADHD trailer edit.

They were probably too afraid of people uploading gameplay footage from their homeconsoles they just cancelled the whole thing :awe:

I supposed it should be doable to not make the sequel worse. I gave it some more thought but that's the only positive i could think of here.

Yeah it's probably pretty terrible judging from what i see. I still pre-ordered it hoping it's not, i do have a thing for the wonderboys (mainly non-arcade but still)

So how much do the mushiking-like cabinets go for nowadays? I might be in the market for one, but not if they command 600+ which i suspect they will.

I thought Tribute's previous game were pretty enjoyable. They didn't do a beat em up yet i think. Hope they spend as much time on the gameplay as they did on the opening cinematic :awe:

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

Most important thing is the monitor. I don't know kortek but i've seen lineups of blasts where i definitely would not buy half of them. Going by these pictures for me its impossible to judge. However for that price and seeing the general condition of cab and the bezel thing the monitor has to be abs...
