Re: Dodonpachi Saidaioujou EXA LABEL

I'm guessing an exa pc + game will be cheaper than what SDOJ goes for nowadays? Provided there even is one available that is.

Re: Doom Eternal

Haven't yet. Looks awesome. Still doubting because doom2016 was amazing too but gameplay-wise a bit more twitchy like quake and less mellow like the classic dooms.

Re: exA-Arcadia

As usual in "retro-gaming" price has nothing to do with fun.
I must say gimmick has me more excited than anything else on the platform. I'm unlikely to ever run into it but hey who knows.

Re: exA-Arcadia

So what interface do the games use, are they glorified USB sticks or is it something else?

Re: Streets of Rage 4

You probably hit the nail on the head. SoR2 and SoR3 were AAA in their own days indeed. This absolutely is not AAA today. It's a generic sidescroller cashing in on the nostalgia and name of the SoR franchise. There are tons of non-pixel games that look great; this not so much; it looks pretty **** (...

Quite tragic that we have a new system but there’s mainly talk about who screws over who, regardless who’s right.

Really not digging this style. The physics of the gameplay don't look SoR either.

Re: Sony D24 Bvm (SOLD) pics added

Like everything retro the most obvious usecase would be display and/or investment. Wouldn't want to increase the hours-counter!

Re: New container orders

Those mini sega cabs are really cool, but seeing what even old mushikings go for i'm not making any illusions about the pricing on those.

Re: New container orders

I remember seeing some guy modding a border break cab and installing one size bigger LCD that just fit. I can't for the life of me find the article or movie though. Does it sound familiar to anyone?

Glad your stuff works. The only thing more frustrating than shiny new toys that don't work are shiny new toys that don't work but seem to work for the rest of the people.

Next dmca takedown notices for forums daring to mention the game? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. These clowns deserve a senior position on boris’ government.

Re: exA-Arcadia

I don’t think doing that and/or having a mailorder update system is the way to go. But then again since the only focus for exa seems to be “operator revenue” i guess this is not my kind of system by design.

Re: exA-Arcadia

Just about every electronic device i bought in the last decade can be updated through direct online updater, cdr, microsd or usb drive. Why on earth you’d have to send this half across the globe just to get an update makes absolutely no sense at all. But i’m very curious what positive spin JBRPG can...
