Re: Sega Astro City Mini

@arcnl Sure, but wasn't that mini-Astro around $1000 and not exactly mass-produced? I'm usually going to care too much about a cheap looking speaker grill on SEGA's version. It's just a toy. It was just an example. Obviously it would not cost sega a penny extra to produce their toy with better desi...

Re: Sega Astro City Mini

Am I nuts to think it would makes more sense showing a kid playing, rather than a lonely old man  Yes. I wouldn't know any kid even remotely interested in this. It's literally made as shelf-filling for the lonely old man. The more detail you see of it the uglier it looks, for example the spe...

I'm not sure how you can be into gaming and literally find nothing in the entire ps4 library that interests you

Re: In Case you guys want to order a Playstation 5

I have a (late) preorder. Main reason: shiny new toys for the xmas holidays. I would not be too bothered if they fail to deliver but fine if they do.

I had to google it to find it back, but this has to be a parody account right?

Re: exA-Arcadia

I will be very disappointed if this does not include some "soundeffects by wasi303" screens before starting a game

He was a bit of a trendsetter, nowadays its perfectly normal and comments on pricing is frowned upon on most forums. So yeah i'd say go for it.

Re: Sega Astro City Mini

With the base it still looks like a way out of proportion abomination that doesn't look as much as an actual astro as it should.

Re: Tokyo's first arcade game bar

Actually the western barcades that i have seen have been pretty good with original cabs and certainly not filled with mame-monsters or 4:3 games on a vewlix. So i don't think to call it western isnt quite fair tbh.

Re: MiSTer FPGA - Cave 68000 Core Beta Released

For me the biggest advantage is that it is (potentially) a lot more hassle free than other stuff. No faffing about with crtemudriver and god knows what else. I get the other advantages of lag and whatnot too but honestly i'm in the "retropie is just fine" and i'm sure i personally won't notice the d...

Re: exA-Arcadia

It's not exactly standard to have tthe composer named so prominently. Since it is pretty average at best (i think this is not just me but what most peoples opinion on it is) i don't see why for example it warrants getting spammed by who made the music when you start a new game to name something. Why...

Re: exA-Arcadia

I don’t really understand why “wasi303” is so explicitly named and even less why there would be a soundtrack edition. You could almost use it as elevator music. There is nothing wrong with it per se but it is very unremarkable at least to me
