What kind of connector is this?

Hey All, What kind of connector is this? I found it on a Lindbergh HOTD4 cab. Any ideas? Btw swapping HOTD2 BIOS or integrating it in the BIN will not do much, I've already done that and there are serious graphic glitches related to a different Holly chip. Yea! <S...

(You can skip the basic naomi stuff if you want: like mobo, cart, dimm, gd-rom, psu) Curio...

What does this CPS3 error message mean.

Hi guys,

Was crusing the net.

Saw a CPS3 error message I've never seen before.

May be because it's in Japanese.

Anybody know what says and what it means?

PLMK.

Thanks!

Re: Cps3 errors

You're welcome. My two cents. Next, find the med. kick pin on the extra button harness connector. Locate the trace connected to it. Follow the trace back. It should go to an inline resistor pack. Next, get your multi-meter out an check the trace, make sure it's good. And then check the resistor pack...

If you don't know what D5 is, then pull it from a parts board.

Re: Capcom CPS2 19XX game board: Looking for cap & diode val

CX.

The mobo revision determines if there are caps here or or not.

For example: the -7 has no caps here.

Re: Cps3 errors

Enter test mode.

Look for INPUT TEST.

Check your buttons.

If the kick does not register in test mode, then double check your wiring. And make sure your button is not bad.

The CPS2 Kick harness pinout is on google.

Find your Dip Switch "C" on the "A" board, flip it ON, then turn the game on. You should hear Demo Sound.

So, was kinda wondering: What kind of Flat Panel Displays are in the Viewlix and Delta 32 cabs? Anybody got some specs on these? Also, can anybody recommend a good "desk top" monitor for me to ...

btw, if it helps any, I also played a LOT of BAM/PB on that board.

Never beat the game--too long--but had some good hour long sessions.
