Re: Adjusting Aero table color.

That absolutely can be fixed with adjusting the monitor.

But yeah, what grantspain said, adjusting them is different to almost any other monitor. Changing gains offsets the cutoffs and there's no unified contrast control.

It's still my favorite monitor though. Looks amazing when dialed in.

Re: Discharging astro city monitor

Every time you're sliding in your screw driver (or whatever make shift tool you're using) under the cap you're scratching away the high voltage insulating paint (the red circle around the anode) and putting unnecessary stress on the anode prongs. The monitor doesn't have to be discharged if you're j...

He's removming the annode cap in the process of discharging the monitor.

Just discharging for safety taking the monitor out to clean the inside of the cabinet.
There's absolutely no reason to discharge the monitor if you're cleaning the inside of the cabinet.

There's an eprom on the cart. Could be related to that. If you do get it, please dump the eprom or send it to someone to dump.

Re: Astro City Marquee light

It's the same size as the lamp in Blast and Net City cabinets. Unfortunately I have no idea what the size is in your crazy American measurements. Here it's just a regular 600mm lamp you can pick up from any hardware store.

Re: Discharging astro city monitor

If the anode cap doesn't come off then you can't remove the chassis from the monitor. I'm watching the video without sound. Are they recommending you to remove the anode just to dismantle the cab? Unless you're removing the chassis or swapping the frame, there's no reason whatsoever to remove the an...

Tekken 4 normally runs at 15khz/standard resolution and heard running that game in 31khz/VGA res won't work.
Tekken 4 runs just fine in VGA.

It's just a regular 5K ohm pot. Just look for one with the correct thread size and shaft.

The SEGA adapter you've got is generally used with a Naomi which can output 15k.
Or it's used in a Blast City which can accept 31khz through the jamma connector.

Re: PVM 14N6E With Bad Deflection

There's a focus pot at the back if you remove the cover.

As for the wonky geometry, a cap kit could help. However, recapping just the PSU probably won't do it.

I don't know why but I had to run Royal Rumble at 5.15V to work, otherwise it boots to a black screen. Every other cart works fine at 5.00V.

Try giving it some more juice.

There was one in development, but like MrJBRPG said, it seems to have been canceled:
