Re: GRADIUS Bubble System Version
It's just rare, especially in fully working condition. It seems to have been recapped, so I'm sure someone puts value on that too.

The PCB design is awesome. The original game is on itch.io for free, however, you need Java installed to run it: https://mix256.itch.io/twin-tiger-shark It's also available on Android with ads: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.widepixelgames.android.twintigershark.mobile I like it.

Try going in to the extended menu and turn up your cutoffs and / or gains
IIRC you have to hold down either up or down on the remote for 3 seconds.

Re: Noir 1080p White wavy lines right side
I can't see the lines anywhere else except the top pic. They're close to the edges of the screen, right? Probably a backlight thing. There's a film or plastic sheet that acts as a light guide, maybe that is somehow misaligned. Honestly, based on the pics it looks like a very minor issue. You could p...

Re: Tekken 6 Bloodline - Namco 357 - not working
I know nothing about 357, but I suspect the 12V connection is needed. As for 12V, there's two or three PSUs in a Vewlix C. There's a 24V PSU at the back for the monitor. Then there's a 12V PSU on the right for the sound amp and IO. Finally, there's likely also a Wei-Ya JVS PSU on the left, but I kno...

Re: Gimmick! EXACT☆MIX
I hadn't seen that previous art style before. The current one is definitely loads better. Glad they ditched the old one. Anyway, I was more thinking of just a 2x upres to what is there currently. gimmick_upres.jpg But yeah, I'm playing it on a 1080p 32" with my nose against the screen, so my opinion...

Re: Gimmick! EXACT☆MIX
I assume things like the graphics style and scanlines defaults are configurable in the service menu? Graphics style no, scanlines yes. When starting a new game you can access the mini options screen and there you can choose between updated and original graphics (I mistakenly referred to it as just ...

Re: Gimmick! EXACT☆MIX
DHL finally delivered my copy a few days ago. I could have gotten the game before the end of the year, but the deliveryman decided he wanted to end his shift 20 seconds earlier and instead of bringing the package to me, he just did a 180 at the end of the road, 10 meters from my door. Too bad for hi...

Ooh, interesting. I haven't found these yet.bloodhokuto wrote: ↑January 8th, 2021, 12:06 ami think I finally found the exact screw that is mainly used in this cab and this type of design (called a sems screw), is used in lots of candy cabs - basically a machine scew with a fixed washer and cut clip that acts as a spring tightener.

Unplugged yoke doesn't explain why's he's getting a loud buzz instead of a picture.

Looks like a slightly off yoke to me.

Re: Dodonpachi Saidaioujou EXA LABEL
I would speculate that we'll see a couple more Exa Labels before CAVE even consider developing a new game. I believe SDOJ took a year to make and they sold around 350 kits and it wasn't profitable enough to continue arcade development. I have a really hard time seeing Cave getting back to making ar...

Re: Single dot on screen after chassis/tube transplant
Take some pics of the chassis showing what you have plugged in.
Don't turn it on. You shouldn't be hearing a loud buzz at any time.
