Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

I just don't think they're worth all that much, that's all. I actually sold the MX2000 last week. I asked 10 euros for it. Buyer was happy, I'm happy, it's all good.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

All of my Beos came with original remotes too, two of them with matching VCRs. Honestly, they're pretty standard fare as far as televisions go. Not poor by any means, but not great either. Pretty to look at, but if you're actually wanting to use the thing, pick up a Sony or a Panasonic instead. £150...

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

I've bought three Beos in the last 1-2 years:

LS6000, 4 euros
MX2000, 7 euros
MX4000 (with rotating stand), 10 euros

First two were internet auctions, the third one was a local classified ad without a price.

You can ask for more than 10 euros, but no way are they worth more than that.

Re: ps classic mini

I have a huge itch to play some original WipEout right now. I have no idea where my games are. Or my controllers. Console I could probably find

Local electronics store has the Classic for 50 euros, however, it was down to 40 euros just recently.

Re: WTB-Toshiba PD-1843 chassis

Didn't a Yanton chassis recently kill one of nem's tubes? It did yes. However, it was a MS2931. Let's just say, that certain chassis has serious issues, Yaton sold or not. A Tosh of mine recently stopped working. Put in a Yaton replacement chassis and the monitor has been running just fine....

Re: ps classic mini

Hackers to the rescue. This is apparently now a really good emulation device with better specs than a (S)NES Classis or a Raspberry Pi. There's two exploits available: https://modmyclassic.com/bleemsync/ https://github.com/screemerpl/cbleemsync/blob/master/README.md PS1 and PSP emulation is supposed...

Yes, they're the same.

I don't have a Gradius III, so I can't measure the pot for you. Sometimes the pot is labeled on the PCB. Look for any markings near the pot.

Re: Vewlix: Replace easily your screen with a 1080p or 1440p monitor

DVI to HDMI just needs a simple passive adapter. There's no conversion involved. However, I guess you're thinking of VGA, because Naomi only outputs VGA and not all Type X2 games work with DVI. You need a powered adapter for VGA to HDMI. Not all adapters are created equal and most cheap ones are usu...

Amazing offer.

Seeing as I have Chip Chan Kick here without a console to play it on, if for some reason it's not taken, I'm interested.

B is the video input connector, E is the power connector.

Power connector is JST-VH:

Really? It's just a regular potentiometer that could be picked up from Digikey or RS.

What board do you need it for?

Re: Nanao 2931 / Blast City Monitor issue

This is interesting because this happened to me and one other guy. Same exact monitor. Tube was fully working before I removed the neck connector and when I put it back in, I got sparking in the neck. Tested with a CRT analyzer and tube is dead. I can't remember if I had to use more force than norma...
