Re: adding an audio line out on a PCB?

Yes, I have done that on a Neo Geo MV1C board, this board is mono but it can be modded for a stereo line out by picking up the signal before the amplified mono output.

I am sure it’s possible but will be different on each Jamma board.

Re: NeoGeo 29 black monitor with sound !!!

That’s what mine was, and it looks the same in your pictures.

Do you have a volt meter? I imagine as Grant does something has come loose in transit, you need to check all the connections and any loose wires and defiantly the neck pcb board.

Re: Pandora Box 6

Do any of the games run as they should, I tried one of these multi’s years ago and all the games were wrong apart from Galaxian that ran pretty well.

Does the neck glow on the tube? and have you checked the video input plug where it joins the chassis.

I used to have one of these cabs, really nice cab to play on.

Re: Namco Noir buzzing speakers

Try disconnecting the input to the Namco amp which is accessed from the back next to the JVS IO, you may have done that already.

Disconnect the stereo input but leave power on and let us know if you still have the buzz.

Wanted 2 x 1Gb Ram for Ringedge.

I managed to order the wrong ram, laptop ram.. :shifty: too small, doesn’t fit. What I want is to upgrade the RAM in a ring edge 1, currently have 1 x 1Gb and would like 2 ... which I think need to match. Pretty sure the Taito X2 uses the same ram, it’s this. 2x1 GB DDR2 800MHz PC2-6400 Cheers :awe:

Re: Rust under control panel overlay

I have repaired a few like that, my method was to gently lift a small part of the overlay and then remove the rust with a flat needle file until it’s 90% gone, then spread pva glue or similar between the overlay and CP. Quickly clamp it so most of the glue comes out, job done! Won’t be perfect but w...

Re: FS. OSSC + remote screen a bit dim.

Hi Zac, good question..

What I can say is if I play a MVS game or CPS2 game it shows the correct format without having to adjust any settings such as format on the monitor or TV.

If you want to try it out let me know and I will drop it off the weekend.

FS. OSSC + remote screen a bit dim.

OSSC with HDMI output, remote control with English overlay, power supply etc, recently updated to newest firmware which shows info on TV. The display on the small screen has got dull, I cannot seem to find a setting to make it brighter... weird. Anyway only used a few times, apart from dim screen it...

Your photo is very blurred, it’s hard to see which board that is.

Re: Taito Type X2

Hello Horris,

Not giving it up I love it, it has something of everything, Cave, SNK, Capcom.

This is a second one I had that I refurbed and fitted a multi, new fans etc. It’s a beauty.

And replied, strangely 2 have asked me to send to the US... but this thing is really heavy and would cost at least £100 to send.

So would rather ship to the U.K.

Thanks.

Taito Type X2

Nice and very quiet X2, all noisy worn out fans replaced with very quiet brand spanking new ones, completely stripped down and cleaned of filth and scum, new thermal paste added to graphics card fan heat sink. Comes fitted with Niko v2 on SSD £480 plus what ever it costs to post, about £20 I guess. ...
