Hi, i search Sanwa or LG screen for vewlix.

In France or Shipping to France (i pay the shipping cost 8-) )
It’s also an option to fit an LG screen, there is a thread on Arcade projects explaining how and why. Good luck with your search.

Re: Step-down for cab

Hopefully thegreathopper will see this thread, but I’m sure he said it’s not the best idea (not a quote) to underload a stepdown? I don’t think there would be a problem with Airlink transformers being oversized, I personally use transformers close to their output to keep the output stable. But afte...

Re: Troubleshooting : a candy cab with no power

The monitor will make some noise when powering on, also if you can see the back of the tube it will have an orange glow.

Re: Troubleshooting : a candy cab with no power

Test for power at the monitor, it’s probably something silly like a switch turned off.

Re: Vewlix: Replace easily your screen with a 1080p or 1440p monitor

If you are playing mainly retro games you will be better off with a CRT screen like in an Astro or Aero, old games don’t look good on these modern cabs.

Re: CAVE iOS games are back!

I've re-downloaded them. Never really played them in the first place. Also, Cave are having a "major announcement" on the 15th during TGS.They'll be on the Dengeki X Famitsu stream between 2PM and 2:45PM. No indication about what yet, Shou was hinting in the ExA thread that something is in the pipe...

Re: Kof 97 Pcb Original or Bootleg

If you look at the chips marked 232 that is the Neo game number, I haven’t checked but I would assume it’s KOF97.

Re: Removing Impress Monitor

One other thing, best if there are two of you to lift the monitor out and also if you do it on your own lie the Impress on its back.

Good luck and just make sure you don’t get caught on a cable.

Re: Removing Impress Monitor

When ever I removed an Impress monitor the first thing I would do is remove the power supply, I see in your pic it’s still there. It would be quite easy to neck the tube with it in.

The pcb on the end of the neck pulls off, it’s a socket that slides on to pins on the end of the tube.
