Re: MS8 26SG focus issue

I am not sure of the model number but a couple of the MS8 26 monitors I have had you need to put power directly on to the degauass terminals on the chassis.

Re: Your Arcade "To Do" Checklist

Clean and get rid of all spareparts, spare-art and spare-games :problem: I don’t suppose you have anything to go in the top marquee and instruction space of a Noir :awe: Cheers. Spectre has some Lindbergh stuff that would work for the marquee. Thanks Cools, I couldn’t see it but maybe I looked in t...

Re: Please Help Me Get My Astro City Working!

No 3 is a Capcom CPS2 and CPS33 kick harness, come on you being a Capcom fan should know that. :awe: It’s for the 3 kick buttons in Street fighter etc. It won’t affect if your cab is working or not. Well, as I wrote, I assumed it was for the kick buttons, so I guess I was right, then, wasn't I? But...

Re: Sega Astro City 2 - Grounding issues

That wasn't the trouble. I discovered that I got the same problem with my neo geo mvs system. When I disconnect the ground everything is normal. Can anybody tell me what I did wrong with the grounding? I connected the ground from a screw to an grounded socket in the wall of my house. Does your tran...

Re: Noise filter

I see, so your drawing is wrong, the transformer is

220 volts in (P) Primary,
100 volts out (S) Secondary,

Both Neutrals or 0 volts as the common.

Your transformer looks correct.

Do you have a picture of the transformer, something does not seem correct with your sketch.

Re: Noise filter

Almost correct but not quite, the Blue Neutral from the On/Off switch marked 1 should go to 0 Volts and not to 100 Volts.

Re: Sega Astro City 2 - Grounding issues

The earth on your cabinet should be connected to the earth terminal of the secondary side of your transformer, what you have done is connected the cab to a different earth ie the primary side. If your transformer doesn’t have an Earth terminal or a 3 pin plug with earth on the outlet I would replace...
