Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

I have never seen a mahjong cab that wasn’t burned to hell and back.

It must have had a screen swap if it genuinly is no burn. Isn’t the wiring on mahjong cabs a rats nest too?

I bought the hori dpad joycon. It’s not great, but it’s 100x better than the buttons for traditional dpad games

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

I think I paid £50 for my MX4000. It was local and I wanted to try one. I’m pretty sure it ended up in the skip. So I’m in the, if you’re buying, it’s £50 if the timing is right and if your selling, it’s £0 unless you are happy to sit with yet another massive CRT you no longer want in your house. Th...

Re: WTB-Toshiba PD-1843 chassis

I believe this should be compatible, assuming it works (which isn't a given with Yaton). Maybe someone could confirm? https://www.ebay.com/itm/TOSHIBA-Arcade-Monitor-Chassis-PB9929-Working-SM-296/312554031444?hash=item48c5ac0954:g:C20AAOSwUnJcgckY It’s compatible with the tosh PF tubes, but it’s mi...

Re: Noob to cave games question

http://www.jamma-nation-x.com/jammax/tutorials.html Replace it with a coincell. It’s under arcade misc. Iirc you can / it’s easier to mount the coincell on the under side of the board. That being said, you don’t need it for espgaluda, ketsui or DOJ WL. It doesn’t save scores, unless you used a hacke...

Re: DDP Bee Storm broken

Go through the normal checks, cleaning cart edge and slot, check voltages too. It takes a couple of minutes and it’s likely the problem most times. I’m guessing it’s from yaton (even if that’s not who you bought it from, it’s likely where it came from originally) mine has mold on the pop too :proble...

Re: NNC and CAVE CV1000 ... havent got sound!!!!

Well, the JVS to jamma is getting enough power.

Try plugging those RCA cables you removed directly into the amp, it’s at the front of the cabinet, on that little shelf directly above the CV1000 pcb in the video

That might point to it being that splitter on the side.

Re: NNC and CAVE CV1000 ... havent got sound!!!!

It could also be the power to the JVS to jamma board. The smaller (6pin) molex is what gives power for sound side of things on my Namco one

Re: NNC and CAVE CV1000 ... havent got sound!!!!

Have you tried any other games / system in the NNC? I’m guessing It’s the wiring to that splitter at the side. The sound amp is at the front of the cab on that ledge. Use the RCA cable that goes to it direct to the JVS to jamma. I’ve never touched one of this JVS to jamma convertors. It should be ta...
