Re: Aero City / Nanao MS8 yoke plug question.

I'm really scared  I remember when I used to think I had to discharge the tube every time I was going to unplug the anode, even days after the monitor was off... now I turn it off, grab the suction cup and yank it out. I've been doing this on more than 100 monitors and TVs in the past year and...

Thanks,

So the cup is the only part to stay far from?

I'm really scared to go in there and touch anything you know. :D

Re: Aero City / Nanao MS8 yoke plug question.

Hours is out of the question I'm afraid but somewhere in the days to weeks area should be doable I would hope :D I normally get connectors like these from JST. They do stock them but the minimum order for that type is 500. I've found a company in China that manufacture them so I shot them an email ...

Re: Aero City / Nanao MS8 yoke plug question.

It's funny you should ask :awe: I make a flip kit for the MS9 but I didn't think I could do a flip kit for the MS8. However, after looking at some pictures of the chassis this morning it looks to be fairly straight forward. I've emailed a supplier in China for some parts. Fingers crossed I should h...

Re: Aero City / Nanao MS8 yoke plug question.

I have done this a few months ago...monitor left inside (in tate), i have quite big hands and it is not that big task. Just be careful to plug it in right and not touch any of the high voltage parts. I couldn't reach mine in tate mode and had to remove the monitor. Thanks. To make sure... your's ar...

Aero City / Nanao MS8 yoke plug question.

Guys,

Is the yoke plug easy to access and flip from the back of an (open) Aero City?
Or do I have to remove the monitor?

I read, it has just one plug and two connectors, to flip the picture I need to plug into the unused connector next to the used one?

Thanks.
