Re: Cyberlead woes

The plastic speaker shrouds are very very brittle, I broke one of PascalP's Cyberlead by barely touching it :(

Re: [FS] Arcade-Projects Jamma extension cables

Dude, that's the beauty of these things, for other lengths you just need to source longer ATX/IDE cables et voila :) You are absolutely right. For the buyer its no issue to source an ATX or IDE in any length of their choosing. For me as the seller it's almost impossible to stock all the requested l...

Re: Elegant Way to Connect PC to Arcade?

Re: Lf help to put a 3.5mm Jack for head phone on many candy

Yep, our dear FrancoB definitely stopped making them. Imo those are great, however he made them like this as it's pretty universal. Should you be using stereo boards like CPS, Naomi, Konami whatsoever it would be better to make yourself a passthrough adapter between your stereo amp and speakers, bit...

Re: New Astro City Speaker Replacement

This is also the fifth kit I've tried, I'm completely done with the hunt and am happy with the LG ones. Might add something to my NVS4000 later to try and set bass and treble. Not a prio right now though.

Re: New Astro City Speaker Replacement

I meant physically they are very close. Sound wise they are a lot different, as stated the mid/high is way more present in the original ones, these are more balanced. You could say they sound a bit more muffled. Have been testing them for a few days now (few minutes now and then), and I will leave t...

Re: New Astro City Speaker Replacement

So, I've bought the LG ones. They are really really close to the original ones. Had to use 2 small rings underneath the holes but otherwise they are actually drop-in. They do sound a lot more muffled comparing to the original ones, that said, the OG speakers are very rich on the mid and especially h...

Not sure if I'm stepping over some lines by posting here
Why would you be? I'd be calling it more something along the lines like doing the community a big favor :) Keep up the good work buddy!

PS: I would have put it in the for sale section though :)

Re: -5v on Sega New Astro City

Yes, it's supposed to be wired to different jamma pins.

Pins 3/4/C/D are +5v, while pins 5/E are -5v.

The PSU supplies -5v, it even says so on the bottom right. Just check if your jamma is wired properly as per above.
