Re: NEO XYX MVS LE - NG:DEV.DIRECT

Preordered this purely based on how much I enjoyed Gunlord. I heard mixed things about Last Hope, but given that Gunlord was there last game, I'm hoping it will be just as good or better. :awe:

This, along with Ginga Force and Sturmwind have be pretty excited for 2013!

Re: Mustache Boy PCB sound issues

Boards using -5v is pretty uncommon, so probably not. Ah - didn't realize that. I just looked at the pcb manual http://www.arcade-museum.com/manuals-videogames/M/Mustache%20Boy%20pin%20%20DIP.pdf and it mentions the -5v must be connected. So i guess my -5v connection isn't working on my cab (or not...

Mustache Boy PCB sound issues

This one is confusing me - I recently acquired a Mustache Boy PCB and everything is working fine except the sound. The sound works fine on my brother's Astro cabinet, but on mine it's barely audible. We both have identical cabinets, except with different PSUs (mine is a new one from RS) - all of my ...

Re: Replay: Strider completed 1-life

Awesome! Game brings back so many good memories. I must have replayed that last sequence (where you ride the human centipede to the last boss) a dozen times before I realized I have to ride him and not kill him right away. :palm: This makes me want to buy another cab so I have a horizontal set up. :...

In no particular order... Cave games pop in and out of my list, and there would be more Toaplan stuff if I got my hands on more of there boards... - Battle Garegga - Dogyuun - Truxton - Mushihimesama Futari - Bullet Soul - Thunderforce 3 - Omega Fighter ( regret selling this badly ) - Akai Katana - ...

Re: Whats in your cab(s) right now?

Just got an early Christmas present: Outzone. Been playing it regularly in my NAC for a few days now. Such an awesome game! Immediately set it to hard since I read the US version is fairly easy. Can 1cc up until the 3rd boss right now, so I'm sure I made the right choice. Great game - prob going to ...

Just be sure you have a set up for both vertical and horizontal games if you pan on getting all of those recommended PCBs :)

Super Contra is a vertical oriented game for example -

That's a great stick - I had that when I had my DC - sans the modified parts.

road fighter (konami) Second that. Just managed to find one for my collection, proper old skool racing. Third that. Though I've only played it on MAME, with keyboard. I got to play two-player online via Kaillera, it's a fun competitive 2-player game to play (you take turns). I completed it aswell. ...

Hold up for a couple of seconds when selecting the random ship slot in Strikers 1999 will get you a secret plane.

That's all I got.

Change Air Blade is really fun if you like shooters and something a little different. Small learning curve though... Blades of Steel is always fun - or Hit the Ice for that matter. (but I prefer Blades cause it's faster and more frantic) But the one I love the most is Mach Breakers - because any tra...

Re: Name some great vertical JAMMA games...that AREN'T shoot

I have Speed Rumbler as well! Seems like a good game - but to be honest, I hardly played it because I stocked up on a bunch of PCBs before I got my NAC working. One of these days I'll get to it and put some proper time into it... The little I played seems a cross between Jackal and the original GTA ...
