Re: Monitor seems to lack red

Cheers grant, I'll preface the rest of this by saying I am an absolute novice with electronics. Is it necessary to discharge the tube to take the neck card off? Presumably the £10 soldering iron I bought, which melts its own handled when turned on, might not be suited for this (the tip for one is bl...

Monitor seems to lack red

Hi all , I have one of those roditron / mak vision flat monitors with the tri sync chassis - it's been running lovely but recently when it boots it looks like there's a colour missing. It used to happen occasionally but then just pop to normal when I'd start playing, lately it pretty much stays yell...

Re: Lesser known fighting games others ought to play

Breakers Revenge is pretty awesome - really easy to pick up and get started with as well.

Last Blade 2 is less new-player friendly but it's one of the best looking games on the Neo Geo in my opinion.

I liked the slowdown and cut to black at the end, before the ultimate reveal which was Ken does SA3 from third strike (again).

Andy's reply in this might help:

Seems to suggest the JVS I/O is either broken or not getting power.

Re: Street Fighter V

There will always be upgrade versions. Billy Big Dick from Capcom could look me dead in the eye and swear on his poor Aunt Jean that there will only be one version and I'd still know he was talking ****.

After all the publicity though I'm sure he'll find a private seller with no problems.

Re: Street Fighter V

That comment about Killer Instinct was pretty spot on. That's all I can see when I look at the game-play trailer.

Yeah you're right. He's an **** but there's no shortage of people buying his stuff apparently, so I don't expect him to stop any time soon.

Apparently guard meters are back, which is good - because I think we can all agree that is what's missing from SF4.

Re: What's your 5V at and why?

I've had a CPS3 board which would only boot at 5.12v, and others which work fine at 5.0v. Cleaning the Jamma edge did have an effect on the 5.12v board though.

Re: JVS>JAMMA adapter doesn't work

If you stick a multimeter in the JAMMA +5v and GND slots do you get any reading?

If not then I would start working from the Naomi power cable, and verify the pinout the Konami adaptor is expecting matches whats on the end of your AMP connector.
