Re: Streets of Rage 4

I’ve been playing the Streets of Rage Remake a bit recently, so I’ll be giving this a bash once it comes out. I might have a go at putting the 16:9 setting onto my Tri sync tosh to help slim the beefcakes a bit :fastlove:

Re: WTB: jamma AV splitter

This'd get you started for the CPS2 games:
https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n340880114
You'd then just need to wire up a couple of adaptors for CPS2 kick harness --> CPS1 & Konami

Re: J-pac for fightcade.

I've just been building up my own mame setup for the first time in years, using a Dell SFF PC and J-PAC This guide and Windows bundle that the dude put together is great, and saves a bunch of time if you're unfamiliar/rusty on setting stuff up http://www.ukvac.com/forum/read-only-windows-7_topic3663...

Yes, it should fit those cabs. I had that Hitachi tube mounted in an E2 for a while, black foam to hide the gaps, until I was able to source a proper Toshiba tube.

Re: JVS-PAC 2

Nice 8-) Any idea how 4p works with cabinet linking? As you know, my 2 Windy 2s threw a **** fit when I linked them with USB :problem: Yep, it was weird how it was glitching pretty bad. I’ll be interested to see how a Sega<->Konami I/O link up works. I’ve only got one JVS setup at home, so I’ll mai...

I haven't had a chance to have a proper play with this, but all appears to be working nicely with the different I/Os i've got. Another great little bit of kit from invzim :awe: Now i've got plug 'n' play controls and monitor, I might just finally get round to putting a mame setup in place IMG_0730.j...

It'd be interesting to know where that pic is from, and what was in the cab  Anyone know of a guide out there for linking cabs? This thread has some info about linking up cabs: https://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6526 I don't know of anyone is making the versus cables at the mom...

Yep, you'll be able to get the info required over at AP.
Sounds like you've got a working setup, you just need some wires installed in order to get the new pack of games to work.

Re: Jamma PCB in JVS cabinet (Jammafier)

On another note, I can't figure out the Tri-Sync Helper at all, when used, it seems to dim the image, and everything is fine with out it. It doesn't seem to do anything else. I beleive the TSH brings the JAMMA/RGB and VGA signals to a similar level, and saves having to re-adjust brightness/contrast...

The only gotchas are fastio is pretty useless until nesica is publicly supported as a multi-hdd
Aye, the Fast IO is definitely something good for the future once more support is added.
There's a Fast IO to keyboard tool that is available now - but i've not yet got round to trying it properly yet!

Re: Installing a sega i/o in a vewlix?

Thanks for digging out the Taito pinout, i've added it to the wiki I'm thinking - the easiest way to do this is to make a Sega to Vewlix power adapter that merges P1/P2 on Taito to CN2/CN7 on the Sega one and then make a new 60-pin connector that has the Vewlix plugs for J, K and C. That sounds like...

It should be possible with a bit of tracing out.
