Not sure how readily available original panels are, but looks like a repro panel is definitely viable

Re: Candy cabs for beat em ups?

It'd be interesting to know where that pic is from, and what was in the cab  Anyone know of a guide out there for linking cabs? This thread has some info about linking up cabs: https://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6526 I don't know of anyone is making the versus cables at the mom...

Yep, you'll be able to get the info required over at AP.
Sounds like you've got a working setup, you just need some wires installed in order to get the new pack of games to work.

Re: Jamma PCB in JVS cabinet (Jammafier)

On another note, I can't figure out the Tri-Sync Helper at all, when used, it seems to dim the image, and everything is fine with out it. It doesn't seem to do anything else. I beleive the TSH brings the JAMMA/RGB and VGA signals to a similar level, and saves having to re-adjust brightness/contrast...

The only gotchas are fastio is pretty useless until nesica is publicly supported as a multi-hdd
Aye, the Fast IO is definitely something good for the future once more support is added.
There's a Fast IO to keyboard tool that is available now - but i've not yet got round to trying it properly yet!

Re: Vewlix screen, Astro Panel, Stools, MVS,

Not without a bit of work. The Chewlix has standard VESA mount points I believe, but this screen is just the core - it doesn't come with a shell/backplate that would allow it to just screw on. It could definitley be adapted, but I'd only really recommend this screen for a Vewlix L / AMI / VS owner a...

Re: Installing a sega i/o in a vewlix?

Thanks for digging out the Taito pinout, i've added it to the wiki I'm thinking - the easiest way to do this is to make a Sega to Vewlix power adapter that merges P1/P2 on Taito to CN2/CN7 on the Sega one and then make a new 60-pin connector that has the Vewlix plugs for J, K and C. That sounds like...

Re: Installing a sega i/o in a vewlix?

It should be possible with a bit of tracing out. Here's a couple of pics of the adaptor if that helps: https://i.imgur.com/HeM4wf0b.jpg https://i.imgur.com/IgN0xAVb.jpg These might come in handy too: https://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=32694 housing (board Side): HIF3BA-60PA-2.54DSA(71...

Re: Vewlix screen, Astro Panel, Stools, MVS,

Both if that's ok? We're in Southampton (SO14), so could pick them up if you're not too far away? Both are now yours - they're currently located in Crawley (RH10), and I won't be back down in Fareham for a while as I was there a couple of days ago. I'll get a postage quote and PM you in a bit, if t...

Vewlix screen, Astro Panel, Stools, MVS,

Prices do NOT include postage, and local pickup preferred so that the buyer can see exactly what they're getting. If I don't have any luck with that, I might open it up to European orders.
