Re: PC Gone Mad!

I would buy an Xbox One X and save the cash for any other stuff... as CTN said, game is probably getting optimization in console versions. Well I’m gonna be waiting anyway as it’s not got an official release date yet... If PS5 gets released next year then I’ll wait for that. By that time, the PC sp...

Re: PC Gone Mad!

pc gaming has never appealed to me in the slightest , it just always seemed like too much hassle and faffing while still wondering if it specc'd enough to run the latest and greatest games and its too bloody expensive ! my brother loves his pc though :problem: It is a lot of faffing, but it's...

PC Gone Mad!

Look if you want to wear a skirt, then go for it but I mean PC gaming... :P Waiting for Cyberpunk 2077. Wanna play it at optimal bells & whistles so I'll be going for the PC version. So I priced up on Overclockers a same spec PC that CD Projekt used for shows... 3k..... Ouch... But since it's one of...

You're into some super premium class peanuts! :awe:
Well it is considering the only alternative was a model made by F4F at £245 which is no longer available.

Re: Super Nintardbros!

I read that the Arwing model wasn't all that nicely made, and the game was a fairly repetitive TPS? Certainly a decent bargain though. I’ve not held the actual toy but I have held the box with it in at Smyth’s Toys. It looked good to me. But keep in mind it’s gonna be lite because these Starlink sh...

Re: Super Nintardbros!

Any of you guys out into Starfox, collectables wise? Because the Starlink Battle for Atlas game is tanking hard and it's being heavily discounted everywhere. The Switch version comes with a good size replica of the Arwing and at £17.99-£19.99 (from £50-£60 was it?) I think it's worth it just for the...

Re: Traditional Console Death! Long Live Streaming?

Same here, and that in all... if a lot of people think that way then companies won’t be taking chances on new new IPs like they used to. Only guaranteed sellers. Doesn’t bode well for creativity but it’s really been downhill since COD and GTA, choice wise anyway. Kill, shoot people in the face.. foo...

Traditional Console Death! Long Live Streaming?

With some in the industry predicting the PS5 being the last console with a media disc drive, though even that may change as Xbox Two is rumoured to be a streaming box. Are you guys ready to spend 50 smackeroons on visual thin air? As it is... I’m already not playing that much and streaming only will...

Re: Super Nintardbros!

Have Tecmo actually inserted the game into an actual Switch yet? I mean it’s a Nintendo console... it’s coded to explode as soon as it realises it’s outputting boobies.

Re: ps classic mini

My first PS1 game was Star Gladiator and I loooooved it. As for PS1 mini, I will pass it. I like only 4 games from that compilation: Oddworld, Tekken 3, Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid. PS1 is not like SNES in terms of barriers. It is quite cheap to collect for so there is no justification for t...

I bought the lightgun s/h, disassembled and cleaned it.
The TV is a flat square Sony 29.
Though not everybody experiences it... there’s enough people (Googled) having problems with light guns and flat screen crt’s. The main complaint being... “accuracy is off”. That’s gotta be your answer.

Re: Super Nintardbros!

I had to buy something else to stop me playing ITB. A couple of the mech teams are awful, but it’s such an addictive game. I haven’t been fortunate enough to get to an addictive state... I’m always about three parts into my first island and then I fail the mission, perma death then it starts from t...

Re: Super Nintardbros!

Had a few goes of Into the Breach... It’s so hard that I don’t find any enjoyment in it. It has no learning curve and it starts so high and keeps on going higher. With little precious video game time as it is... I’d prefer not crying whenever I play a game.

Waste of my money....

Re: ps classic mini

Like you guys I too own those games... but for people that don’t, it’s a good deal because I went on eBay last night and saw Jumping Flash at £10-£29 BIN average and Wild Arms at over £20 to £70, I stopped adding up what each game would cost physically there and then.

PS mini= Uninspired jaggies...

I think plugging that into my 4K tv would most likely give it a few dead pixels the size of poptarts.

That is shocking. IMO it would've been better to not release any footage at all. The time and money spent on that to give you crap second hand footage of a CRT and just two characters doing **** all. Who thought that would be a good idea to hold a cheapo disco reveal for what looks like a failed pro...

Re: Streets of Rage 4

Compared to the recent homages and clones, SoR4 does look a tad crappy... I dare say lazy. When you look back at the graphical jumps from SoR 1 to 3, they were quite significant. SoR4 looks to have taken a step backwards given today’s capabilities. At the very least it should be on par with an Arc S...
