Re: IC: repro Aero city 1P/2P panel and other SEGA / Taito custom panel

Me too please! 2L12B

Edit - I'm actually looking to stick this on my SNK Candy 25, I see you do those panels too.

Would it be possible to do up an SNK panel that's 2l12B? I basically have decided I want to play some SF2 boards on my SNK cab and need extra buttons :D

Re: Are you a feeder?

The moment I start credit feeding it just ruins the fun of the game for me really. Feels like cheating. Never really thought of using it to try and learn later levels as part of a 1cc run. I'm in a similar boat with Metal Slug, can 1cc up until about half way through the final stage with ease and th...

Re: Most Memorable Arcade Music

The whole Mercs soundtrack is amazing. I especially love the opening from 1:39 in the video, the way the beat slows down as the helicopter takes off and them BOOM, into that absolutely kick **** level 1 track. Gives me goosebumps. https://www.hasntfiguredouthowtoembedyoutubeproperly.com/watch?v=dyNE...

Re: Has anybody done an extension cable?

A lot of monitors seem to use [ JST EH series ] connectors for the adjustment board. The adjustment board for the Toei TC-RM25J in my Pony Mk3 25 is anything but remote and was a pain to adjust so I made a extension cable for it so I can relocate it under the CP. https://photos.smugmug.com/Wiring/n...

Monitor mildly annoying issue

I've had an issue with a monitor since getting a cab a good 5-6 years ago, have just lived with it as it's fairly mild (!) but would be nice to get it fixed. I had the chassis recapped a few years ago and it didn't solve it. It's a Toei TC-RM25T (with a Toshiba A59JMZ90X) in an SNK Candy 25. (Pre Ne...

Re: Which is the smallest and lightest candy cab?

Pony 25 III has IMO the best footprint to monitor ratio I've seen. Weight is only 78kg (so just 18kg more than a cute/status 18) but it has a 25 inch monitor compared to the 18 inch ones in those cabs. I used to have an Aero beside my one and it was interesting to see the sheer size difference in th...

6 in 1 switcher oddness

Hey guys, bit of a weird one here. I bought a second 6 in 1 jamma switcher. The first one worked great in the Pony, so I wanted to put another in the SNK Candy 25. When I got the board, I loaded it up with PCBs. They all fired up and worked grand, apart from one thing - they won't play! It's like th...

Re: Outzone, dodgy sprites - missing a cap

Cheers lads! Plenty to go on there, I'll have a bit of a fiddle (!) At first I thought it was the socketed chip labelled '07' but tried pressing a few more of them and it had the same effect. So it seems to be the pressure flexing the board is connecting something somewhere. The pressing seemed to w...

Outzone, dodgy sprites - missing a cap

So I picked up an 'untested' Outzone PCB on ebay for the total sum of £22.50. Obviously hoping for the best but expecting the worst. I noticed there was a missing cap in the auction photo. Would someone with a board be able to tell me the value of the cap that's meant to go here? http://i15.photobuc...
