Re: Batrider Working perfectly and then died.

Who’s Phil ? vectorglow AKA IronGiant. Yup, that's me. Sorry for not replying to this thread sooner, been so busy with board repairs lately that I've barely had any time to browse the forum so didn't notice the thread updates. Very pleased that I managed to save Sunder's Batrider for him. :)

Good content, many thanks. Not sure that the background music was needed though, it's just an irritating distraction from what you're saying.

Don Pachi - a question about the custom chips

I'm currently working on a Don Pachi board which appears to have a faulty custom chip, specifically the one marked as: 038 (there are three like this on the board). Does anyone know if Do Don Pachi uses the same custom, or any other Cave/Atlus boards for that matter? Perhaps I could find a parts boa...

Re: SegaSonic Rev.A Prototype

I put up a message there yesterday but sadly no replies.

I PM'd Apocalypse and he knows it can be done but unfortunately doesn't have the relevant details.

Re: SegaSonic Rev.A Prototype

Thanks. No problem with the additional board, it's already present and correct. :)

Do you happen to know the whereabouts of the details regarding the conversion please? Jumpers, EPROM types, etc.

SegaSonic Rev.A Prototype

Does anyone know anything about SegaSonic Rev.A Prototype running on Sega System 32 hardware for other games? Not sure if we are allowed to mention conversions of this nature but I'm trying to get the game working on an F1 Exhaust Note ROM board (same as the Spiderman ROM board) - this is for somebo...

Re: leonardoliveira & Idc's clean decrypted roms

First time in a while that I've tried to access cps2.avalaunch.net but no response - is it only temporarily down?

Thanks

Re: In the Hunt pcb no sprites

I can't remember what the other jumper pin does so I'd be wary of moving the jumper there without checking first that its not +5 volts (which is unlikely, but better safe than sorry).

As for the flickering, that sounds like it may be a RAM issue, hard to say for sure though.

Re: In the Hunt pcb no sprites

The jumper is what you see marked as J3 - it's a black rectangular plastic enclosure with metal contacts inside, you'll see that it can bridge two of three pins. They tend to get corroded a little so power off, lift it off and push it back on a few times. You can even carefully clean the pins if you...

Re: De-Suicding SSF2T USA Blue Board

Very curious. Maybe some Arduino afficianados would be able to state why you had problems based on your findings? I'm guessing there is a decent Arduino messageboard out there (I've never looked).

Re: De-Suicding SSF2T USA Blue Board

Very well done! :D Curious about the power supply though as have never had that issue because I power my Arduino via the USB cable plugged into my PC, however you have to remember about the current draw - obviously 1.5A wasn't enough from one of your PSUs but 4A was. Here's the specs for the Uno: ht...

@NoAffinity - have you tried asking the developer, Eduardo Cruz? He has an account of this forum but also posts more elsewhere, here's his profile on Jammaplus:

Re: cps2 volume resets when powered off for a while

Ahhhh, I see. I had stupidly assumed that the supercap was keeping power for all settings. My bad. I'll see if I can source a replacement then - I usually order my electronic components from Farnell or RS so hopefully they'll have something suitable. I'll open up the shell of the A board again tomor...
