CAVE did not complain about other hacks either. Trap15 Ketsui hack was shown in several arcades too. Shou also has that Progear Red Label hack as "original". That scanned title screen with PS2 box art and the english texts are extremely suspect. If they converted a Sama board then they had to resold...

The hacked Prog-ROMs and GFX ROMs can be burned via JTAG and other means on CV1000. No need for a hardware mod.

I'm glad to see people finaly creating SH3 hacks.

I'm hoping for Akai Katana with a simple original mode.

This also means we get a way to convert between 1.5 and 1.0 DFK etc.

The coin insertion runs at 60fps the game itself only at 30fps. Hence the difference.

The Metal Slug games are not suitable for measuring latency. I would choose a recent 60fps vs-fighter like Garou.

As the Metal Slug games only run in 30fps the lag will be always at least 16ms more than all other NEOGEO games. In case of slowdown the lag may raise even further.

It's just that at best they only run at 30fps which is half of the arcade standard of 60fps.
They update the screen only every 2 frames and it shows.

15khz over JAMMA (ideal for pixel art)
31khz over VGA/JVS (ideal for CGI)
720p,1080p over DVI/HDMI/JVS for Vewlix etc.

But this is off topic anyway.

No idea where Jimmerd has this info from. Sounds like misinformation.
1080p over JAMMA makes no sense. That would be JVS (VGA+DVI).

I would have thought that the bottom right is the culprit as the RGB video signals go through there.

Cables didn't make a difference: http://imgur.com/vTIJ1lC I reduced the symptom by reducing R/B-gain. But it only reduces the symptom and does not solve the problem. I could see it live reducing in the NAOMI color bar test. Now I have the problem that the picture is too dull because the gains are do...
