Re: HD Cabinets, Vewlix etc

I think it also depends on aesthetics, the Vewlix is the better looking cabinet, its more likely that people (me included) would buy one for home use, the Delta might technically be the better cabinet but god its ugly and less likely you will sell many (if any) of them ... just my 2p

Re: Egret 2 31Khz - Vertical Collapse ?

Morning, chassis is out, lots of pictures taken to make sure I know where everything goes. Any recommendations on couriers, or even better is there any way I can drop it to you (I travel a lot for work)

Thanks

Re: Egret 2 31Khz - Vertical Collapse ?

Ok thanks, i'll look at removing the chassis over the weekend, unfortunately (or fortunately) as its an Egret2 with rotation mech the chassis isn't physically attached to the monitor frame in any way, having had another look I should be able to to get at the anode, disconnect the molex adapters and ...

Re: Egret 2 31Khz - Vertical Collapse ?

Shame, I can't even figure out how to get at the anode to take it out :-( its hidden behind the rotation mechanism as far as I can see ...

If I pluck up the courage to take it out, any idea on cost and turnaround (or should we discuss via PM ?)

Thanks

Simon

Egret 2 31Khz - Vertical Collapse ?

Hi I'm hoping for some assistance, I've literally just recovered my Egret2 from storage over the last 3 years, its been transported today and once in the house, I let the cabinet sit for a good 12 hours and have decided to give it a try. On powering on the cabinet (connected via 110v-240v tranformer...

Re: Taking apart a 2-player Sega sitdown and drilling locks

Thanks for the information, as far as I can see the coin mechanism it sandwiched between the 2 halves, there are then bolts going from the inside of the coinbox out into the legs of the 2 cabinets. Unless I'm missing something it looks like i'll have to drill both the coin mech door and the coin buc...

Taking apart a 2-player Sega sitdown and drilling locks

It looks like I have the opportunity to pick up and old ID twin sitdown, the price seems fair and its working, however I have concerns around how to take the damn thing apart, additionally the keys have 'been lost' :-( So basically how easy is it to drill the locks ? Ok, so answered by own question,...

Re: A guide to Cave

Wow, just got Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 on the 360, hooked up to my Egret II tri-sync, holy **** what an unbelievably awesome game .... I love shump, but have traditionally played the slower (non-bullet hell) games, my current favourite was Under Defeat, which looks great via vga on the Dreamcast, I ...
